[makan & Shopping] Madam Kwan's + Bai Wei Xuan

Baby and I went back to Subang Jaya, Selangor again to pick up 'Jazzy' from Uncle Mike's place as 'Jazzy' was kept at the workshop for servicing. We purchased a pair of 1-way tickets from Tiger Airways at SGD117 for the 2 of us. We were happy that 'Jazzy' is back with us again! Without 'Jazzy' for a week, it was really painful for us, especially for Baby, as he stays very far away from his work place.

We re-visited Madam Kwan's after a year of hiatus at Empire Shopping Gallery (ESG). Baby misses her signature Nasi Bojari so we decided to drive to ESG i/o our usual haunt, Sunway Pyramid.

In case, you didn't know, there is a Madam Kwan's in Singapore, but we have never dined there before as the prices stated in the menu here are exactly the same price in Singapore. In short, it is the currency that makes the difference! Madam Kwan's is well known for her Malaysian and Indonesian cuisine.

Baby fulfilled his craving by having his favorite, Nasi Bojari.

I had Char Kway Teow. It tasted pretty decent and it was not oily at all.

Lastly, we shared the Otak Otak together, and we savored every bit of it. The damage was RM84 (SGD31) with a pot of Ginger Lily Tea ordered.

We went for a family/relatives gathering dinner at Bai Wei Xuan which is located at Shah Alam and they serve Hunan & Sichuan Cuisine. Our dinner gathering took up 2 big round tables.

The food tasted pretty good, and they tasted very different from the usual Sichuan cuisines I have in Singapore. Taste-wise, it was lighter and not over-powering yet the food still tasted flavorful. Thumbs up for the dinner!

Thanks for the dinner and we love going to Subang Jaya as we are taken care well by Uncle Mike and Shelley. Hugsss!!

I picked up some lip colors from Daiso, Subang Jaya, and they look perfect for the summer season. I love my hair accessories loads as it can also be worn as a wrist corsage.

I got myself a cute owl rubber pouch as it is VERY roomy for dollars and as well as for coins too. This rubber pouch cost only RM9 (SGD3-ish).

Lastly, during my trip in Perth, my travel mate, Vi-Vien picked up 5 bottles of DernaVeen Body Lotion from Garden City Shopping Centre and each bottle came with a free gift, a full sized (150ml) Facial Exfoliator (Daily Nourish) by DermaVeen. She is so sweet to pass a tube for me to try out. Thanks ya!
