[launch event] ASUSZenFestival Singapore 2015

ASUS announced the launch of their flagship ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL), as well as 2 other new additions to the ZenFone series, the ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) at the ZenFestival launch event which was held at CHIJMES.

 

 

I was glad to be part of the launch event for this flagship ZenFone Selfie phone. The product has been  long-waited by many people (myself included!) who love to take selfies with beauty functions, without getting any aids from 3rd party/downloaded apps!

During the launch event, all attendees were given the chance to experience the 2 latest models, the ZenFone 2 Laser series and the ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) as well as the flagship model, ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL) through various experiential zones.

 

 

After having hands on trial on this device at the event, I find that I simply adore it, as it gave me the best multimedia and entertainment experience! The unique Selfie Panorama mode enables selfies with an outlook of up to 140 degrees, for a large field of view with every shot.

 

 

 

I enjoyed every bit of the presentation by the VP of ASUS, Mr Benson Lim as it was pretty entertaining.

 

 

 

The ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 inch is engineered with a 13MP PixelMaster camera and rear laser allows for auto-focusing as quickly as 0.2 sec for near-instant clarity with a resolutions up to 1280 x 720 HD! Additionally, the phone utilizes the latest Corning^® Gorilla^® Glass 4 to be scratch proof/resistance. ZenFone Selfie features a dual 13MP PixelMaster, dual-colour, dual-LED Real Tone flash for both front and rear cameras, plus the laser auto-focuses for ultra-fast shots to capture perfect clarity in just 0.2 seconds. ZenFone Go is equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS screen and a removable battery with a superior battery life. Nevertheless, ZenFone 2 is the world’s first 4GB RAM smart-phone, in the sophisticated ZenCase Illusion Series.

 

 

 

 

 

The ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5 inch (ZE550KL) will be available in the colors of Black, Red and White colors for SGD279 at Best Denki, Challenger, Gain City, Harvey Norman, MC2, Newstead, Singtel, Starhub and M1 shops.

 

The ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) will be available in Black, Red and White colors from 17 October 2015 onwards at SGD179 at Challenger, Gain City and Newstead.

 

The ZenFone 2 Laser 6.0 inch (ZE600KL) as well as ZenFone Laser 5.0 inch (ZE500KL) is priced at SGD329 and SGD239 respectively. Availability will be announced at a later date.  

 

 

Celebrity guest, Michelle Chong was here to brace the event too by making a special appearance, and she shared her experiences with the ZenFone Selfie! A viral video depicting the unique features of the ZenFone Selfie also had her acting as a character called Kelian to depict the unique features of the phone was unveiled at the event too.

 

 

 

 

 

ZenFone Selfie provides Picture Perfect Photography as it features a well-balanced multimedia performance and battery efficiency.  

 

 

To me, one of the best functions about ZenFone Selfie is the light sensitivity function up to 4X which capture up to 400% brighter photos and videos at under low-lighted conditions without the need of flash. Not to forget, it is capable of enhancing noise reduction and boosts color contrasts by up to 400% too.

It was a pleasant night of Asus Zen Festival Singapore and it was nice to catch up with some influential social personnels as well as some blogger friends.

 

 

We shared photos that we took during the event and shared it on our various social media platforms by hashtag-ing the official hashtag and gained ourselves a chance in the lucky dip draw! I shared pictures and I won the following premiums - Zenny Sticky note pads and a LolliFlash (worth $17.90).

 

 

The LolliFlash comes in handy when taking selfies in a dark surrounding or at night. I love it very much, Thanks ASUS! Lastly, thanks for the invite!
