September's edition of Partibox from Particlub + Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

A month has yet again passed, so it's time to show and review on my Partibox from Particlub!

I am glad that I was introduced to Particlub and joined them even though I had missed out on the early-bird promotion price at only SGD10. I am still very happy to be with them, as the goodies and perks are getting better each month. Here I am into my fourteen month with them, and I feel a great sense of anticipation and excitement every month when I am about to receive my box! Let me share with you on what there is for September’s edition!

This time round, the gift contained only Biore products! I received 3 items from them, and they were Body Powder Sheets, UV Sunscreen SPF50+ PA+++ and Makeup Remover.

This month’s Partimerch is a Limited Edition 'PartiCap'! I love this super cute cap, and this will come in handy as the weather has been changing drastically recently.

That summarizes all the goodies that I got for this month's edition from Particlub! Do stay tuned, as I will share on the box's content on my space again!

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival, or more commonly known as the 'Mooncake Festival', fell on a Tuesday. As usual, the company that I work at considers this occasion an important day, hence we enjoyed a half day rest/off from work. The Korean celebrates this day as Chuseok (Korean's Thanksgiving Day!)

I left home to meet up with R to have our girls’ afternoon day out. We went for an afternoon tea at TWG Tea on the Bay at Marina Bay Sands. After 3 hours of non-stop chatting and sipping of tea, we left MBS, and proceeded to Scoop Wholefoods which is located at Raffles City Shopping Centre to get some chocolates for our indulgence.

Baby came over to meet me to have dinner with me while R made her way back to have dinner with her family. We decided to have delicious ramen for our dinner, so we decided to visit Tonkotsu Kazan Ramen aka Volcano Ramen which is located at Funan Mall.

The soup is poured into a pre-heated 400 degree hot stone bowl with all the ingredients and the noodles inside *Caution: FIERY HOT* It is then covered by a cone-shaped lid for one minute, and when it is cooked, the steam will come out and it resembles an erupting volcano. What an experience!!

The damage was about SGD30-ish with a dish ordered. The fried Oysters were pretty good!

We were so surprised and feeling touched at the same time when we received a box of mooncakes from our neighbor during this Mid-Autumn Festival. We only moved over in June, and during this period, we only seen/talked each other a couple of times while taking the same lift. It is so sweet of them, and of course, we did a gift exchange too!

We started our tradition in celebrating this occasion ever since since 2013, where we had always made it a point to spend quality time with each other by strolling in a park with lanterns, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, we decided to stay indoor to carry out our mini celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival.

I prepared some tea for us to go along with the mooncakes, and this concluded the celebration at our balcony.

Lastly, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival aka Lantern/Mooncake Festival. May your day be as perfect as the full moon!
