Dinner at Restaurant Yayoi + Pigsfly Kitchen + Bar

R invited E and I over to her place for lunch, and R’s mommy cooked Chicken Rendang for us. Both of us enjoyed it very much! In conjunction with this house visit, we celebrated E's birthday at the same time. Both of us bought 2 slices of cake for her! Happy Birthday to you, and may all your wishes come true ~ Always stay happy and pretty!

After my visit to R’s place, Baby picked me up from her place and we went to 100AM for some Christmas deco shopping from Daiso and grocery shopping at Donki for my forthcoming week of WFH.

Apart from shopping, we had Japanese food at Restaurant Yayoi which is located at ITADAKIMASU by Parco in 100AM. There are 9 popular Japanese restaurants under one roof at affordable prices.

We were pretty surprised by the quality of the food, as it tasted pretty delicious. The damage was pretty decent too, and we will definitely come back soon!

We picked up pre-prepared Takoyaki from Donki. All you have to do is to microwave the tako balls and add in the small sachet of takoyaki sauce that is provided in the package.

We added extra ingredients to our takoyaki balls such as bonito flakes, mayonnaise sauce and added in more takoyaki sauce to enhance the flavor!

It’s beer time! We went to Pigsfly Kitchen + Bar which is located at East Coast Road (Katong area). It is a casual dining restaurant where people come together for the love of food and beer. You will find four independent kitchens serving up a variety of cuisines and a bar which serves a wide selection of artisanal beers from around the world!

We picked Thai Cuisine from the Blue Elephant. I had Chicken Basil Rice while Baby had Green Curry with Rice.

We shared a bowl of delicious Tom Yum!

Baby loved their Thai food very much, and he wants to come back again! For myself, I would like to try the Western and pizza too in future. We love the food concept setting and it is a great place to catch up with your friends over a drink!
