[throwback - 04-02-2022] My Wedding Anniversary Gift + I love Teochew Kueh

Baby got me the DIO(R)EVOLUTION NECKLACE on my birthday. I love the design very much. Thanks for the gift and for loving me for who I am. Love you Baby muaks!



I love having Soon Kueh and Png Kueh for breakfast or tea time, and I believe most people do that in Singapore too.



We drove to East Coast Road (along Katong area) to take-out some of these delicious Kueh(s) from Yong’s Teochew Kueh. Do note, there is no dine-in option at this outlet.


What I love most about their Soon Kueh is that they are filled with generous yet tasty filling and the pillow-y soft skin. Their Png Kueh are equally tasty as their Soon Kueh.



As I read online, they have another outlet at Upper Serangoon Road, but the rating was kinda low due to their bad services rendered to the dine-in customers. For me, I love the quality of the food, and I will definitely go back to the East Coast outlet to do more take-out in the future.


Recently, I have been eating salad as part of my meal. I either take them as brekkie in the morning or at night as dinner. Eat healthy and stay safe!



Baby did his home-cooked stir-fried dish again, and this time, he only used 6 different ingredients to make this dish. The ingredients are button mushroom, carrots, fish cake, red capsicum, yellow capsicum and baby corns.

 

We had it with our white basmati rice, and a bowl of miso soup. We had a simple yet delicious dinner, and we enjoyed spending quality time with each other at home!



I end my post with my breakfast at Upper Boon Keng Market and Food Centre. I always order a plate of wanton mee from Zao Dao Shu Shi whenever I visit this eatery place. This stall usually sells out before noon time, so I will ensure that I come early to avoid disappointment.

[Nights with Netflix] Screening of Next Gen

Thanks Hpility , for extending your invite to me to attend the 'Nights with Netflix' event. This event was to check out Netflix's Singapore office, as well as to catch a special preview of an awesome screening! photo credits to hpility.sg   Netflix Singapore's office is located at Marina One West Tower , and it looked splendid! How I wish I could work in such a wonderful environment! The pantry looks just like an eatery place, and was well stocked with drinks, snacks and even cup noodles!   Nextflix won the global rights to stream the movie 'Next Gen' , and this newly animated movIe debuts on the 7th of September 2018 .  'Next Gen' is a family-friendly movie with pretty good computer animated visuals for a non-Disney/ Pixar/ DreamWorks production.     This film, 'Next Gen' was based on a short online comic from the Chinese Multimedia Company 'Baozou' .
