A hiking date at The Rail Corridor + Instagram-worthy Bistro at SAFRA Yishun

Image
On a random weekend, RKM went out on a late afternoon hiking date at The Rail Corridor.  We simply couldn't resist taking a selfie against the truss bridge, as is it was perfect for an Instagram-worthy photo! I took quite a number of OOTDS at the truss bridge! On these truss bridges, there are two that have been conserved as heritage sites. These historic bridges are a rare sight in Singapore, and you can them along Bukit Timah Road near the railway station and near The Rail Mall at Upper Bukit Timah Road.    We walked to Singapore Quarry and I took a tired yet hilarious photo as wearing a mask to hike is no joke. I totally hate this feeling, so please consider allowing us to take off our masks while walking in an open air nature reserve areas! We are moving out of the northern part of Singapore soon, so Baby and I are trying to explore as many food gems and interesting food venues as possible in the up north of Singapore such as Yishun, Woodlands or Sembawang. Baby ca...

[product review] Olive Face & Body Wash + Hand & Nail Balm by Sebamed + Ceradan Gentle Cleanser

Image
Thanks Sebamed Singapore for sending over the PR Kit! I have always been a regular user of hand sanitizers, even before this covid era. However, for obvious reasons I now use them on an even greater frequency than before, and this has caused my hands to become dehydrated. Thankfully, I was gifted with the  Olive Face & Body Wash by Sebamed.  It has a pH 5.5 skin-friendly formula that includes olive oil, Panthenol and Botanical ingredients to protect my skin's barrier. It is safe to use for both children and the elderly, hence in short it is suitable for everyone! I love the balm very much as it is gentle and soothes my skin  and reduces irritation, as well as strengthening my fingernails too! I am glad to say goodbye to my dehydrated hands and fingernails with the aid from  Sebamed  -  Olive Face & Body Wash + Hand & Nail Balm.  After washing my hands,   I applied the balm to keep my hands hydrated at all times.   Both prod...

[Part 03] My IDS Journey with IDS Aesthetics - Cryo Therapeutics Treatment (CTT)

Image
It has been almost 1 month plus since I tried the Hydro Therapeutics Treatment(HTT) . I was back again to IDS  Aesthetics  for my skin review and for another round of treatment. As part of my collaboration with IDS , I was supposed to go for a laser therapy. I was thankful that IDS allowed me to change this to a facial treatment, as I am not ready to receive treatments that involve extreme high heat and numbing cream. I was given the  Cryo Therapeutics Treatment (CTT) , and it is suitable for dull and sensitive skin. It is the coldest facial in IDS, as it uses Cryotheraphy Technology to tone up the skin and restore skin firmness. The treatment starts with a double cleansing, first with cleansing milk, and then followed by a refreshing cleanser.  After this a microdermabrasion machine was used to to exfoliate the skin. The next step was the one I disliked the most as it was the extraction process and an amount of pain was to be expected. I dislike this pa...

[All about food] Good Friday + Easter Sunday

Image
Happy Good Friday holiday!!  Baby and I went to  'Sixteen Ounces'  which was located at  The Rail Mall  for our chill-out session. We ordered a pint of beer each, and also got a plate of  Cheese Fries  as an accompanying snack. We spent some good quality time together, which was reminiscent of our dating/pak-tor (courtship) days! We revisited Paradise Classics at Changi Jewel , as we love the delicious food and good service from this particular outlet.  Below were the food items we ordered: The damage was less than SGD60, and we had a pleasurable experience at the restaurant indeed! Both Baby and I are oyster lovers, and we missed the 'Happy Hour' offered by Tanuki Raw , which is located at Jewel, Changi. During the happy hour period, each oyster is going at a valued price of SGD2, and it was great value for money! These tasty oysters were fresh, creamy and large. They are perfect when paired with some beer or cocktails at the premises! Note, in...

[product review] Beauty Box by Clozette Beauty Club + Perfume Diffuser by Kundal

Image
The best way to stay in the know about the latest trends in makeup, skincare, haircare, and related information are through these beauty boxes, as they are the initial step for recommendations on whether these products are worth-trying to users. A beauty box is a fun way to discover new products that you may not have tried yet, and it is also a good way to re-discover our long-forgotten favorites. I am happy that I was being selected to receive the beauty sampling box from the  Clozette Beauty Club which featured the Cult K-beauty brand - Belif .  Inside the box, there were 4 trial-sized products which were kept in a lovely blue pouch. Out of these 4 items, I really love the  Aqua Bomb Brightening Ampoule Serum  and  The True Cream - Aqua Bomb .  Due to the constant mask-wearing daily lifestyle, hydrating products have become essential to our daily beauty regime so the Belif Aqua Bomb   Range might be something that is useful to us. I was delighted...
