On a nice Saturday afternoon, I met up my girlfriends for lunch, as recently, I was introduced to Ceylonese Crabs - a Sri Lankan restaurant offering an array of authentic Ceylonese dishes. It is located at the Seafood Centre of East Coast Park Singapore , and it aims to cater the Sri Lankan palate in a foreign land. We started off our meal with their Welcome Juice , and it went well with our Ceylonese Bite order - Batter Fried Onion Rings . I loved their Sri Lankan Egg Fried Rice , and I loved that they used Basmati Rice and some Sri Lankan spices in the dish. We also ordered the famous Sri Lankan Street Food - Roast Chicken Cheese Koththu, and it tasted pretty delicious. We ordered the Grilled Herby Jumbo Sri Lankan Prawns served with Saffron Rice and Cavier Butter Dip . The prawns were very meaty, juicy and nicely grilled to perfection.
