An epic war film that details the fall of the Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of the 20th century, China is in a state of crisis and the Qing Dynasty is ruled by a seven year old emperor and his ruthless mother, Emperor Dowager LongYu (played by Joan Chen). When China splits into warring factions and the ruling Qings are building a powerful army to against the rebellion, the revolutionary leader, Huang Xing (starring Jackie Chan) decides to protest before the Qing army becomes too powerful and leads an increasingly desperate series of violent uprising against the Qing Dynasty.

3.5/5

The choreography of filming the wall of the Forbidden City to the battlefields of China was simply amazing. '1911' is a true war epic movie that gives the younger generation a better idea of war time in the olden days.
Jackie Chan has filmed 100 movies at his current age of 57 and '1911' marked his 100th film. He is a most popular actor who has sufficient experience which defines his collaboration skills with the cast in the movie. '1911' was terrific. He plays his role well who leads the military army to establish the union in the country.

Thanks William for inviting me to the preview screening of 1911. The movie was released on the 29th September 2011, so watch it soon!
