[food review] Hey! Pepper + Yu Cun Claypot Curry Fish Head

Hey! Pepper is located at the all-halal foodcourt - Cantine at Paya Lebar Square. It offers over 10 types of hot plate dishes, and aside from Pepper Rice, they also have Premium Steaks, Curry Cheese as well as Value Meals! It is a new place to satisfy your craving for pepper rice!

To get the best of all worlds, I opted for the Combo 3-in-1, which came with 3 types of protein - Chicken, Salmon and Beef, together with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a separate bowl of rice.

We also tried the Hey! Pepper Angus Sirloin Steak, and which comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and separate bowl of rice. The meats cut which were on the sizzling plate tasted awesomely good.

The high heat of the hotplate caused the food to char very quickly, so be sure to mix up the dish the moment you receive it, to get the best flavors! I loved how flavorful the meat was when I added in the Garlic Soy Sauce from the counter.

At Hey! Pepper, we got to indulge in the wide variety of offerings which used only quality ingredients. My visit was totally worth it, and the portions were good! The food was served pretty fast even though they had many orders that night! Do head on over to Cantine at Paya Lebar Square to experience it for yourself!

Yu Cun Claypot Curry Fish Head is a local popular Zi Char Stall located at the Tai Seng / Upper Paya Lebar area and is famous for their Claypot Curry Fish Head. It uses only premium ingredients and fresh fish. I am glad to have been introduced to this place for my dinner fix!

Yu Cun Claypot Curry Fish Head has received many good reviews for their fish head, on which I wholeheartedly agree! I love the lemak rich curry that went very well with white rice!

The Claypot Curry Fish Head was served piping hot. On our first glance, it was loaded with many ingredients such as ladyfingers, beancurd skin, eggplant, long beans and tomatoes.

We also tried their other zi char dishes:
-Mongolian King Ribs
-Beancurd with Radish
-Spinach in Superior Stock

The portion for Beancurd with Radish is good for 2, and the sauce was delicious. The radish bits were also crunchy and addictive!

The Mongolian King Ribs were also excellent, and it is definitely worth-trying!

The Curry Fish Head is the Must-Try Dish, and I will be back soon for my next visit with my friends, as they welcome large group gatherings! The friendly staff also celebrate birthdays for customers akin to Hai Di Lao and with a large neon board signage!
