I took part in the PCCW Global Charity Run 2017 , which was held at the Gardens By the Bay (Silver Leaf), to show my support for charity! 100% of the proceeds from this run are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Singapore . A grand total of SGD 50,000 was raised from the Run! These funds will be used to fulfil the wishes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The 5KM Charity Run flagged off at 0715hrs, and it was pretty hard to wake up so early to get to the venue on time for the race. It's all thanks to my Baby's help, so we reached there about 20 minutes earlier before the race began.  The race route was pretty straightforward, and it made the runners traverse the areas of Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage and Marina Bay Sands. Thanks to my blogging buddy Jasmine, who extended her invite to me to attend the KINDNESS DAY SG 2017 Appreciation Dinner which was held at the Stadium Riverside Walk       This year marks the 5th year of Kindness DAY SG Celebration, and the theme is 'Kindness It's Up To Us'!   Chief of Sports Medicine at Changi General Hospital and former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) Dr. Benedict Tan w as the Guest of Honour  for the night!     During the speech, there was a mention on the inaugural Singapore Kindness Run 2017 which was held on the 14th of May 2017. It was an initiative program by the group ' Runner's Heart Reach' to promote message of kindness. This race aimed to have runners give encouragement to one another, and was the first-ever run where kind acts and good running etiquette were experienced by all.
