Baby and I will normally spend some quality time together on the weekends. On a recent weekend, Baby brought me on a weekend Dim Sum brunch at Paradise Teochew Restaurant which is located at Ngee Ann City . I was delighted with his gesture. Upon entering the premises, we were led to our seats. We were one of the first few people entering the eatery place as our reservation was at 10am. We started off our meal with some appetizers and complimentary Kungfu tea. Chee Cheong Fun with Fresh Prawn  – Our dim sum staple. A dim sum brunch will never be complete without  Siew Mai ! They were nicely done, and we enjoyed them very much! The meal was very good, and my personal recommendations (must-have!) are the Teochew Dumplings, Yam Pastry and Glutinous Rice (He Ye Fan).  We had a delightful meal, and thanks Baby for the weekend brunch treat! We love Dim Sum, so Baby and I decided to bring Mum Vi to Mott32 Singapore which is located at Marina Bay Sands for her birthday celebration! The restaurant offers Dim Sum classics with a sumptuous makeover. We started off our meal with the Dim Sum Platter which consists of Soft Quail Egg, Iberico Pork, Black Truffle Siu Mai . They were simply delicious! We also ordered the Signature Crispy Sugar-coated Peking Duck Bun . We also had a plate of Crispy Pork Belly and some yummy Spring Rolls . We also ordered a noodles dish for Mum Vi to conclude the meal, as it is very important to have noodles on one's birthday - To the Chinese, it represents longevity! At the end of our meal, Mum V was served with a complimentary dessert that had a written 'Happy Birthday' as well! Christmas has always been my favorite festive holiday , as I love shopping for gifts for my friends, colleagues and my loved ones. Last year, my dept organised a singing session after work. We did our Christmas gifts exchange at the gathering too!  However, COVID-19 has ruined our plans for this year, so we decided to do a quick and simple one  on Christmas Eve in the office instead before the office closed for half day. My secret santa was Kak Zam, and I was Jane's secret santa! I took photos with them respectively. We had fun together at work,  and we do hope we can arrange for a longer and bigger gathering next year! Baby arranged a Christmas Eve lunch for us at Burger & Lobster, which is located at the Raffles Hotel . We ordered the Christmas Set for our dining indulgence.
