Fasta is a newly opened food joint which is located at the ground level of  South Beach Tower , and the nearest MRT station is the Esplanade on the circle line. To me, it is a well-hidden gem, and I was glad to find this place!     The wait is between 10-15 minutes, which is pretty fast for a decent dish to serve up. The eatery place is rather small in scale, but they do have a reasonable amount of seating available within the place.     I used to dislike fast-cooked take-away pasta, as they generally don't give the quality that I want from a decent pasta dish, but Fasta changed my view! I was surprised by the pasta that came in a take-away bowl which tasted so delicious!   Now, I love the concept of take-away bowls as it is smart way to save money and time! We had McDonald’s for our brekkie, and after that we set off on our journey to China territory, Shenzhen . Crossing over to Mainland China, Shenzhen is pretty simple from Hong Kong , as there is a direct train (East Rail) to Lo Wu (border of CN/HK). We boarded the train from Hung Hom via TST East Station and it took us about 60-70mins to reach Shenzhen (including customs clearance ).   Upon clearing the immigration custom, we headed straight to the Metro Station. We alighted at Lao Jie Station where Dong Men Pedestrian Street is located. This is a MUST-VISIT place in Shenzhen for shopping. If you are a fashion/beauty/food junkie, then this is an economical place to shop and eat so you can't miss it. We had our lunch at Zhen Gong Fu, the fast- food market in China, and they offer steamed Chinese food entrees and soup dishes. The food was delivered swiftly and it is very cheap for a set. Singapore’s Largest Dog Adoption Drive, The National Geographic Channel (NGC) Free Pet Shop returns for its second edition with more dogs!! After receiving a huge success from its inaugural debut last year, NGC will continue to bring together five dog shelters, Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD), Animal Lovers League (ALL), Noah’s Ark, Gentle Paws and Save Our Street Dogs for more adoptions.     The carnival-like environment kept visitors busy with roving games with prizes, voucher giveaways and a photo booth. Pet food distributor, Nestle Purina distributed free dog kibbles and  The Barkery and Doggiestyle Café distributed free samplings of freshly-baked dog treats and cakes for the pooches to enjoy, and lastly the veterinarians and dog obedience consultants were there too to share tips on pet health and behaviours for the pet owners. There were also fringe activities and workshops organised for both dog-owners and their pooches to enjoy themselves...
