This year, my birthday fell about 2 weeks+ before the Chinese New Year Period. To be honest, I'm not very fond of it as most of my friends are busy preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year, and there is no time left for me at all! Therefore, I started to arrange for dinner dates with friends about 2 weeks before my birthday. Baby had got me a huge birthday gift - A planned 10-day holiday to Okinawa + Fukuoka. Our Plan would have us arriving back in Singapore 3 days before CNY, in order to get ready and to do quick spring cleaning to welcome Chinese New Year! Linda and Sweetie arranged an early birthday gathering with me, and it was a great catch up! We went to the PS Café outlet at Raffles City. We had a really fabulous time hanging out. We drove up on a random Saturday midnight to KL to have an early Christmas celebration with Baby's Mommy and his relatives. We had our dinner gathering at ANTE which is located at 1-Utama . There were 8 of us in total at the dining table. We started off with Pumpkin Soup , Caesar Salad and Smoked Duck Salad . We had a delightful dinner, and I was glad to be invited for this meal.  I did some shopping at 1-Utama, prior to the dinner. I picked up a black top from Monkl and some accessories from Lovisa and Vincci.  The next morning, Uncle Mike brought us to KL town, and we visited the famous eatery place, San Peng Prawn Noodles for brunch. Entering the blogging sphere way back in 2010 has been a great experience for me. During my journey of blogging, I had the blessing and delight to meet fellow bloggers who have since becomes my close good friends/buddies! Recently, we met up for a mookata gathering which also served as my birthday celebration. We arranged this meet up a week advance as I was spending my birthday weekend in HKG! We met up at Kin Tub Thai Steamboat which is located outside the food court of Peace Centre . We ordered a meat and seafood platter and they were priced the same. The 2 platters were served within 10mins or less after ordering. The portion was pretty generous as each platter could feed about 3-4pax! I personally prefer the meat platter as the meat was well seasoned and each piece of delectable meat is tasted flavorful! Thanks for all the lovely gifts! On a random Sunday, I asked Claressa and Jasmine to join me for a day-out to Batam. Both Claressa and I love affordable shopping, as well as eating nice and comfort food in Batam. I visited Batam every 6-9 months to stock up my snacks and mummy loves Batam's skincare products, so I need to help her to stock up her products too. As usual, we took BatamFast to Batam Center and the journey took an hour. We went straight to Mega Mall Batam Center for our Sunday Brunch at Es Teller 77 . We love the Mie Ayam Pedas, and not to forget my favorite drink in Batam as well, Teh Botol.     Our shopping desire was fulfilled after our meal. Baby went alone to the men's section which is a level above the ladies' department. He got himself a button shirt at IDR99,900 which is about SGD10 (U.P IDR330,000).   I had fun shopping with my peers and we brought in ton of clothes to the fitting room to try on.
