Every September annually in Singapore, the whole island will be focusing on the night race, the  Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix. Many parties with F1 theme were lined up to celebrate the special occasion. All thanks to Geraldine, we had the pleasure to attend the Exclusive Splash & Dash F1 Themed Pool Party . With the invite, we gained access to the Wet Bar and the pool at W Singapore Hotel, Sentosa Cove . We indulged ourselves with pizza and drink at the pool party. We spent our lazed afternoon at the pool party by chatting, swimming and even selfie-ing.   Our afternoon was well spent with my peers and we enjoyed the music spun by Grammy Award Winning Duo, Dirty Vegas. I end my post with random gifts received from colleagues who just came back from their holidays. My birthday trip continues with my shopping and ‘makan’ experience at Bangkok. Our hotel that we were staying at was pretty near to Central World, which is in the area of Chit Lom (about 5~8mins by foot). We went there for me to get my NaRaYa fix! We decided to find a nice place to chill out after our long shopping session at Central World, and we chose  Pancake Café, which is located at level 3 of the shopping mall.    We had tea by the pot each and we shared an Apple Crumble Pancake . Our afternoon tea was great and I love the setting of the café. The damage was 355Baht. As we were exploring the mall, we came across a popular Thai food chain, BAR.B.Q PLAZA and it was pretty crowded, but luckily we were there early, so we managed to get a table once we were there. I just came back from my birthday celebration in Bangkok last month. Back then, I was pretty excited to visit 'The Land of Smiles' , Thailand, as my last visit/trip was way back in 2009. We took Tiger Airways to Bangkok, and after 2 hours of flying, we finally landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport . I purchased the Tourist AIS SIM Card at 299Baht which included unlimited usage of mobile data + 100Baht worth of local voice calls and SMS. We took the train from the airport to our hotel, Grand Diamond Suites Hotel. It was the eve of my birthday when we reached Bangkok, and we went to Central World, Chit Lom for dinner and Baby bought a chocolate cake from Mr Jones' Orphanage for my mini birthday celebration The themed café looks nice with a cosy setting with swinging teddy bears.   I chose Ferrero Chocolate Cake for our after-midnight indulgence.
