TIGRESS  is a Korean-fusion restaurant and gastro bar located at Orchard Gateway, level 3 . The place had a great ambience with a pretty aesthetic feel, and is definitely a picturesque place for meetups and drinks. You’ll never run out of photo-worthy spots when visiting this eatery place! We kept saying ‘ daebak’ the moment we entered the premises, as It boasts a tropical urban jungle with wooden furniture and a rustic setting. We came for their weekend brunch which is from 11am – 3pm on both Saturdays and Sundays. We shared the TIGRESS PLATTER, which served up Gourmet Sausages, Streaky Beacon, Scrambled Eggs, a large Portobello Mushroom, Roasted Tomatoes, Tater Tots, and Kimchi on crusty bread - Crostini.  The portion was pretty generous. September is Baby’s birthday month, so I booked a table for us for dinner at 'Shao' , a Teochew Seafood Restaurant which is located at the Frankel Avenue.   Ever since the first visit to ' Shao' , I have been in love with their version of the Wok Fried Hor Fun, as every piece of thick Hor Fun (flat rice noodle) was coated in fragrant oil and aroma garlic and radish bits. I like the ‘wok hei’ quality in every mouthful we took! Fried Salted Egg Yam Luffa with Scallops and Superior Broth   I added the Fried Prawn Roll as it is a MUST-ORDER item for me. It tasted delicious and it was priced at SGD8 for 4PCS.   The damage was SGD65-ish. In summary, we had a sharing plate of Hor Fun, Luffa with Scallops, Fried Prawn Roll, Fried Salted Egg Yam, and a bowl of white rice.  Nevertheless, we will be coming back again to try other dishes despite the pricey damage, as the quality of the food is top notch! I entered the world of blogging way back in 2010, and it has been a great experience for me. During my blogging journey, I had the fortune to meet other fellow bloggers who have all since become my close good friends/buddies! Since the first week of January 2019, I've started to make an effort to meet up with my friends individually for a meal. As I'm going to be away overseas shortly for my birthday, I met up with Meryl recently for dinner, who was kind enough to meet me after she just completed a flight back from her stewardess duties.
