Time flies really fast, and we are already on the 8th day of 2017, #throwback to the Christmas celebration as the Lee family (Jasmine and Ryden) planned a gathering at their place, Teban Garden. They invited us for a night of fun and laughter, and of course, not to forget to indulge ourselves with the hearty Christmas feast! We had pizzas, honey turkey ham, garlic chicken sausages, rosemary roasted chicken, ribeye roasted beef and garlic bread with mushroom soup.  Meryl was so sweet to prepare some snacks/titbits for our midnight mahjong session. Thanks for the kind gesture!  We did a mini gift-exchange with one another. Thanks for all the lovely gifts. Christmas has been my favorite festive holiday since young, and I love shopping for gifts for my friends, colleagues and for my favorite person in life. Baby and I went to Marina Square and I took some photos against the beautiful Christmas decoration displays!  I picked up a Disney Scrum Plush bag charm at one of the retail stores in Marina Square! Baby got me a Disney Tsum Tsum luggage for this year's Christmas gift, as my old luggage was damaged after my September Melbourne trip. I can't wait to use it for my next upcoming trip!  I got him his favorite Street Fighter Collectible to add to his existing collections.  I look forward to more celebrations together for the coming years and I want to thank him for bringing me to various countries this year too. 2 important occasions have passed this year's calendar within a month, and they were my birthday and Valentine's Day. Now I am so looking forward to March for my 2-week Holiday to... (stay tuned to @dipmecocoa to find out)   This year, I spent my Valentine's Day in KL, and Baby surprised me with an iPad Mini 4. My first thought was that it was too lavish, as that we should save up for our forthcoming trip. However, Baby insisted on getting me something that I like. Thanks Baby, #mysweetestdrug! I love my gift very much, and I am glad that we crossed each other's path 8 years ago. Entering the blogging sphere way back in 2010 has been a great experience for me. During my journey of blogging, I had the blessing and delight to meet fellow bloggers who have since becomes my close good friends/buddies! Recently, we met up for a mookata gathering which also served as my birthday celebration. We arranged this meet up a week advance as I was spending my birthday weekend in HKG! We met up at Kin Tub Thai Steamboat which is located outside the food court of Peace Centre . We ordered a meat and seafood platter and they were priced the same. The 2 platters were served within 10mins or less after ordering. The portion was pretty generous as each platter could feed about 3-4pax! I personally prefer the meat platter as the meat was well seasoned and each piece of delectable meat is tasted flavorful! Thanks for all the lovely gifts!
