RKM's cafe-hopping experience continues as we hopped over to Lynn's Cakes & Coffee which is located at Eng Kong Terrace , This location is rather 'ulu', as it is quite difficult to get there without a car. The setting was rather simple and the seats are pretty limited as well. Though it was not roomy but it still gave me a warm and welcome feeling upon stepping into the cafe. I like the white and light-colored furniture as it gives a calm and cozy feel for patrons. Lately, most cafes in Singapore opt for Gryphon Tea Company as their tea serving selection. As we are tea lovers, we are glad that Lynn's Cakes & Coffee offers the finest tea from Gryphon Tea Company. We ordered a pot of White GingerLily tea, and we enjoyed our drink very much. I was invited to attend the capsule collection of two designers who won the region-wide fashion competition, Audi Star Creation 2013 and they showcased their collection at Tent@Orchard, Audi Fashion Festival 2014. After a year-long internship with luxury retailer FJ Benjamin, winners of Audi Star Creation 2013, Vu Ta Linh from Vietnam and Sun Yi Jin from China presented their capsule collections at Audi Fashion Festival 2014. Last year, Vietnam's Vu Ta Linh won the judges' hearts through his skillful weaving, stitching and embroidery on his women's collection. During the Audi Fashion Festival 2014, Vu Ta Linh showcased his collection, 'Indigo' which features various shades of colors. Audi STAR Creation is a regional fashion design competition that identifies and nurtures emerging Asian fashion design talent. It is an event of the annual Asia Fashion Exchange (AFX). The competition is open to aspiring designers between 16-35 years old. Asian citizens. The event is sponsored by Audi Singapore and is also supported by FJ Benjamin .
