This year's Mid-Autumn Festival , or more commonly known as the 'Mooncake Festival' , fell on a Tuesday. As usual, the company that I work for, being Korean, closed office early for a half day to celebrate Chuseok (Korean's Thanksgiving Day!) Since we had a half-day off, me and some office friends went to have some gelato at Muted.Gelat o after our lunch at SOI47 Thai Food which is located at King George Avenue. Nothing beats having them around, and we had a delightful meal & dessert fix together. My company gifted each staff a box of Chocolate Mooncakes from Janice Wong as a token of celebration. Each artisan chocolate Mooncake was well-crafted and tasted good.  The day before Mid-Autumn Festival, I met up with my clique at Suntec for dinner, which was then followed by a trip to the  Gardens by the Bay - A Magical Lantern Experience. As usual, the company that I work for, being Korean, closes office early for a half day in order to celebrate Chuseok (Korean's Thanksgiving Day!) Seven of us went to  SOI47 Thai Food which is located at King George Avenue to have lunch together.  Nothing beats having fun with them during our meal! We had a delightful meal together. After our lunch date, I headed home to wash up and prepared for my night date with my baby and our clique! I met up with Baby at his workplace, Harbourfront, where we made our way to VivoCity's Sky Park , which is located on the third level to meet up with the rest. We visited the Mid-Autumn Celebration: Garden of Lights with Sanrio characters . I am a huge fan of Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and Gudetama, and I had a great time there! Baby received a mooncake gift from his colleague, and the snow-skin mooncakes are from Fairmont Singapore . The Champagne Truffle & Chocolate Ganache tasted great! We have been staying at SUO for about a year plus, and we were delighted to have again received a box of mooncakes f rom our neighbor during the Mid-Autumn Festival . It is so sweet, and of course, we did a gift exchange too ! We started our tradition in celebrating this occasion ever since since 2013, where we had always made it a point to spend quality time with each other by strolling in a park with lanterns.  This year, we decided to stay indoor to carry out our mini celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival  due to my clique being busy with their own family things.
