Baby and I visited the flagship outlet of Nagara Thai Gold at City Square Mall .  Thai meals always begins with the Prawn Cake , and these are chubby golden pucks stuffed with minced prawn and served with a sticky, garlicky sweet sauce. We were really impressed with the prawn cake. They were large, and they tasted absolutely amazing. We also ordered the Claypot Tanghoon with Prawn . All Thai meals are not considered complete without a serving of  Tom Yum Nam Kun . We loved the balance of flavors that range between tangy and spicy. Lastly, a final crowd-pleaser, we had the Deep-fried Pork with Garlic .  The total damage was SGD55 after a 10% discount off from using the Kris+ app! I decided to visit this eatery place after our work for dinner.  This place is pretty near from where we stay, maybe only 5-8 minutes away. We decided to have a crab feast for dinner at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant which is located at Dempsey Hill to end Baby’s birthday.   We started off with Seafood Pumpkin Soup and a plate of Mocha Pork Spare Ribs !   We also did not forget to have our 'MUST-ORDER' item - Steamed Bamboo Clam with Garlic , which was tremendously flavorful and tasted awesome We specially ordered the signature Mee Goreng , as we Chinese believe eating noodles on your birthday signifies longevity! Of course, the main dish was  Jumbo's Signature Chilli Crab , and we ordered some fried mantou to go along with the delicious gravy. The damage was SGD160 after a reduction of SGD100 (Jumbo birthday voucher). The Euro dollar recently suffered a huge currency drop against the SGD dollar. Baby decided to make the best of it by going back to Europe again. Moreover, we were still left with some euro dollars from our June Paris trip. This is our first trip to Italy, and we began planning for this trip by keeping a lookout for cheap airfares. We decided on our base as Milan, as tickets to Rome were extremely high. Baby did some additional research to visit other nearby places of interests, and we decided that we would be heading to other parts of Italy. In short, he did most of the preparation and planning, which I love him deeply for! We purchased our air tickets from  Singapore Airlines  which were a non-stop direct flight to  Milan . In all, we paid less than SGD1600 per pax for our return tickets which I felt was pretty reasonable.
