Everyone knows that I love earrings and I will wear pretty earrings whenever I'm headed out from home. My earrings of the day on my lovely weekend which were picked up from the  Turtle Lifestyle Store, Jewel Changi Airport ! It has been about half a year since we moved out from our Woodlands residence. On a random Sunday we drove back to Sembawang to have our favorite cuisine at our favorite food haunt -  JJ Thai Cuisine . We ordered our usual favorite such as  Homemade Thai Prawn Cake, Seafood Tom Yum (Thick Version), Fried Olive Rice and Phad Thai.  The damage was SGD40, and we will definitely be back again… It has been a long hiatus since I visited Suntec City.  The 2 main reasons why I've stopped visiting Suntec City is because the company i work for has shifted to another location at Gateway back in April, and also because of the WFH program which was implemented since May. There are now many new food establishments which have now popped up at Suntec C...

On leave mood - ‘SHIOK’  Both Baby and I took a day off on Monday to spend a well-deserved afternoon at  Min Jiang   Restaurant at Goodwood Park Hotel together.  Baby loves to eat Dim Sum, and I decided to give this eatery place a try! We had the Min Jiang Land and  Sea Quartet which consists of Steamed Prawn and Carrot  and Carrot ‘Rabbit’ Dumpling, Deep-fried BBQ Pork and Pine Nuts in Glutinous ‘Carrot’ Pastry, Steamed Squid in 'Sea Cucumber' Dumpling and Steamed Prawn and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.  This handcrafted platter was exquisitely done, and my favorite was the Steamed Prawn and Chinese  and Chinese Stem Lettuce with Tobiko ‘Starfish’ Dumpling.  Apart from Min Jiang's Land and Sea Quartet, we also had Steamed Pork Spare Ribs , and Deep Fried Prawn Dumpling , which tasted awesomely good! They were my favorite items out of the eatery that we had ordered! We also ordered more dim sum items- Cheong Fun, Pan...

Weekend High Tea Dim Sum Buffet at Peach Garden + JJ Thai Cuisine

Fashion trends comes and goes, and this includes earring designs as well. I always have a soft spot for Punk Human Face designs, even though the trend for such designs are fading! My earrings of the day on a lovely Sunday!   A good dim sum meal doesn't always come with a low price tag! Luckily Peach Garden offers their Weekend High Tea Dim Sum Buffet with an incredibly affordable damage! They are now offering a great deal whereby 1 adult dines free with every 3 paying adults! This offer is only available at the Thomson Plaza outlet, and the dim sum buffet includes a decent selection of dim sum and local dishes. It's a Double date with the Lee Family , and Missy Rena dined free as she is less than 4 years old.  I love the setting of the buffet as the dim sum was served from traditional pushcarts. The servers went around the tables, and we can pick up our favorite dim sum.  Served piping hot, the usual dim choices range from Siew Mai, Steamed Pork R...

[Food Review] JJ Thai Cuisine + Indian Curry House

If you are an avid fan of Thai cuisine, some authentic thai food can be found right in the heart of Sembawang!  JJ Thai Cuisine is located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre (SSC).  It offers a wide selection of Thai food that will likely make you spoilt for choice. This eatery place serves pretty delicious Thai food at an affordable price! We dropped by for dinner on a random weekend.  We love the Homemade Thai Prawn Cake  and this made it into our 'MUST-ORDER list! It was crispy on the outside and had a sweet and sour dipping sauce to accompany it. With the sauce, it enhanced the flavor of the breaded prawn cake! Best to be eaten while it’s hot! We ordered the  Seafood Tom Yum (Thick Version) which we absolutely loved ! The   seafood and ingredients within the soup were very  generous as well and the thick soup tasted spicy. It was rounded off with a well-balanced taste of sourness! Just four word...
