I finally met up with CK after a 3 month hiatus. Together with my usual clique, Chewy and Meryl, we visited Tsukada Nojo (Bijin Nabe) which is located at Chinatown Point . Meryl was the only person who had yet to try this eatery place. We picked up the signature Bijin Nabe hotpot for a 4-pax portion, and it came with fresh prawns, minced chicken meatballs, Japanese beancurd roll, black fungus, purple sweet potatoes radish, lady fingers, golden mushroom, Japanese red radish, baby corns and assorted greenies. The hotpot set also includes a choice of carbo items too, and we chose egg noodles . All ingredients are carefully selected for a nourishing Bijin Nabe dining feast. The big pot of collagen was served to us, and it looked like silky milk pudding. The friendly server told us that we needed to boil the collagen and it will melt into a thick soup broth when heated. To celebrate Terence's 23rd birthday, I  arranged a small gathering meet up, and we met up at Tsukada Nojo (Bijin Nabe) which is located at Chinatown Point . Tecky is the first timer among us to this eatery place.     Terence, Jasmine and I took charge to order as we were all here to satisfy on our cravings. We picked up the signature Bijin Nabe hotpot for a 4 pax portion.     The big pot of collagen pudding which is made of Jidori Chicken was served to us. The collagen pudding was made via stewing the chicken bones for more than 8 hours and left to cool down and form the pudding. We boiled the pudding and it took about 5-6 minutes for it to melt into a creamy textured broth. I am glad that CNY falls on February this year, hence I can celebrate my birthday in January in a more relaxing mood. A few days before my birthday, I decided to have a simple dinner gathering cum birthday celebration as I have booked my holiday to Bangkok on the eve on my birthday.   Our meet-up venue was Tsukada Nojo (Bijin Nabe), and it is located at Chinatown Point .
