Both N & I had a mini birthday celebration together, as we are Jan Babies! We had our Omakase dinner date at Sen-ryo which is located at Suntec City . This eatery place offers high quality and legit Japanese fare. We began our omakase dinner with five seasonal appetisers, each offering a unique taste of the season's finest ingredients. Each bite was a delicate balance of flavours and textures, setting the stage for what was to come. The Sashimi course was delightful, and it showcased an impressive array of freshly imported seafood from Japan. I truly enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients which were coupled with an amazing presentation of the food by the chefs. Hotate with Truffle  Uni with Negitoro Handroll  - my personal favourite! As we grow older, we find that Valentine’s Day is not only about showing your affection or love to your loved ones, but is also for spending quality time with your loved ones and renewing your commitment, responsibility and the efforts you put into this relationship or marriage.. Baby made a reservation for us to a posh restaurant to celebrate our Valentine’s Day at Akira Back which is located at J W Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach . We had a wonderful Omakase experience. Apart from the Omakase dinner set, we also ordered their signature Tuna Pizza , and I loved the very crispy crust which was topped with thinly sliced tuna, and flavoured with truffle oil. It was an addictive pizza, and it’s impossible to stop at one slice. The damage was pretty hefty for the portion, oh well I think the quality of the food made up for it! While it may sound pretty cheap to pay SGD130 for a 12-course Omakase experience that included a bottle of sake for two, I was quite disappointed to have experienced quite easily the worst Omakase meal I've been to. It was our first time trying out this food deal from Kris+ App , and we were both excited to see what Beppu Menken Restaurant offered to us. We didn’t expect much due to the heavily discounted price for the Omakase dinner. While I had no qualms about the quality of the food, I thought the service was quite lackluster. As I've mentioned, I did not expect much for the price, but the entire meal went for 2.5 hours which I found outrageous. Our booking was for 7.30 and the meal finished near to 10pm!
