For 2024, we opted out of our usual tradition to end our night on New Year's Eve by drinking at a bar. Instead, we had an exquisite afternoon tea at The Lobby Lounge, InterContinental Hotel on New Year’s Day to welcome the first day of 2025!  We spent quality time over our afternoon tea by sharing with each other on our plans for 2025 and of course, discussing on my upcoming birthday celebration!  As we grow older, we find that NYE is not about just having a 'Countdown', but is more akin to having a reflection on what we have achieved, and to start planning on goals for the New Year. Getting ready to go out for our Christmas Eve Celebration...  Walking the 20-metre corridor into the restaurant under the Torii-Gate always reminds me of my trip to the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto! Baby made a dinner reservation  at  KOMA Singapore  which is located at the  Marina Bay Sands .  This eatery place is always full, and we finally managed to secure a spot at the restaurant. Only the bar-area was available, but we just took it as we only made the booking a week before Christmas Eve. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a brilliant smile, and were led to our table!  We had the special X'mas 5-course dinner which came with a Soup, 2 Starters, a Main Course and complete with a beautiful Dessert.   Baby made a dinner reservation to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary at Spago by Wolfgang Puck which is located at the  Sands SkyPark, Marina Bay Sands. Before our meal, he brought me to the Chanel boutique to collect my gift! Spago by Wolfgang Puck is located at Level 57 of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel Singapore - Sands SkyPark, Hotel Tower. It offers two dining concepts – a fine dining restaurant and a terrace lounge with an al fresco bar. Upon arrival, we were greeted  with a brilliant smile, and were lead to our table! We had the Spago Set Dinner which was about SGD 75++ per pax. The 3-course Spago Set Dinner comes with a choice of Starter, Main Course and Dessert.   Complimentary bread was served to us after we made our orders.
