2 days before Meryl’s actual birthday, Chewy and I arranged a lunch celebration at Habitat Coffee which is located at King George Avenue ,  a walking distance less than 8-minutes away from Lavender MRT Station. We ordered some signature brunch items   from the 'All-Day Brunch'  menu, which are available till 8pm.  Recommended items are the 'Big Ben' , Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict , and Avocado with Eggs ! One of the items we ordered was the Beef Yakiniku Don , which was served with generous pieces of  of sautéed yakiniku-style beef slices, along with sliced onions, seaweed, and onsen egg. The Big Ben is a plate of ‘big breakfast’ rather than just Eggs Benedict, containing scrambled eggs, maple glazed bacon, toast, pork sausage, grilled tomato, and sautéed mushrooms. My cutie niece, Missy KaeGirl has turned 5 in July this year, and she dressed up in the bling-bling ‘mermaid dress’. Her mini birthday celebration with Mermaid theme was held at the  Sims Urban Oasis Clubhouse . Only family members were invited to the party.  Time flies really very fast, as I watched her grow up from a toddler to a grown-up pretty young lady! I still remembered from when she was just a toddler, when she was taken care of by my parents, when I was still staying at their place, I watch her grow up day by day! Our love for tonkatsu brought us to Katsuya again, which is located at the East Coast Road (Katong area). What I won't miss out on when I visit Katsuya is the  Buta Kakuni  - a side dish of fatty pork belly that is so soft that one's chopstick will go right through it! It's simmered in an appetizing savory-sweet soya sauce. Baby again commented that he could probably finish this dish off with a bowl of white rice as a meal! I had the  Dori & Ebi Katsu Curry , and it tasted delicious! Baby had the flavorful Rosu & Ebi . It’s been 2 years since our whole family can dine out together. Together with my siblings, we organized a Mother's Day celebration session for Mommy at the Super Thai Singapore by Soi Aroy which is located along Upper Aljunied Road . I am glad that my family enjoyed the dinner! We took a family portrait at the premises.  As MIL loves Cantonese cuisine, Baby and I decided to bring her to MYO Restobar which is located on the 19th floor of Oxley Tower for this year's Mother's Day Celebration! We had the signature dish, Kia Hiang Claypot Spring Chicken . It is a nostalgic and traditional dish, which is famous for its juiciness and rich herbal broth! Apart from that, we had Tofu and Pork Ribs as well. The damage was around SGD70.
