[Food Review] iVegan + The Space Bistro

Image
I've decided that I want to eat clean and improve my diet to reduce health problem & issues as I grow older. Exercise is one of the good options to stay healthy, but eating clean does a great job too! Therefore, as one of the goals to be healthy, I decided to change my diet to a healthier one! iVegan has 2 outlets in Singapore. One is located at Thomson Plaza and the other one is located at i12 Katong . We visited the outlet at i12 Katong for a vegan lunch. This vegan eatery place holds a very strong philosophy to serve food that is all natural, plant-based, with no MSG and refined sugar added, and they only use olive oil and pansalt, a low sodium salt! It is not easy to find eateries in Singapore that serve good vegetarian or vegan food. Perhaps I am too picky when it comes to vegetarian food. First things first, I do not like mock (gluten) meat, which one can find easily at some vegetarian food stalls. I am not a fan of ‘impossible meat’ too. Luckily, iVegan fits into my c...

[Food Review] TANI Bistro & Bar + 8 Degree Lounge

Image
Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Zhongshan Park , TANI Bistro & Bar offers a modern take on Indian cuisine. They offer affordable Indian food and the place has a relaxing environment for dining in. TANI Bistro & Bar opens daily, and is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. It has both indoor and an alfresco dining area, with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and approachable. In addition to the tasty dishes, they also offer an extensive selection of beverages, including cold beer, fine wines, and handcrafted cocktails. What a nice way to unwind oneself after a long day of work!  The restaurant's extensive menu caters to vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, with standout items such as their Seafood Platter , Vegetable Biryani and the everyone’s favorite Butter Chicken . The food was deliciously good! We especially loved the Tani Chicken Wing s - It tasted perfect! One can also never go wrong with Butter ...

[Japan Fall Vacation] 2D1N in Osaka with a day-trip to Nintendo Museum (Kyoto)

Image
The much-anticipated new Nintendo Museum in Kyoto , Japan opened in October 2024 and Baby balloted for the tickets prior to our trip. Luckily enough, we were chosen to be able to purchase the tickets online. All tickets were released as per a lottery draw system. There are no tickets on sale at the museum's premises, and security guards at the Nintendo Museum will check your ticket against your passport.  We made our way from Kinosaki Onsen to Kyoto to visit the museum. It is located in the small town of Uji which required us to take the local line from Kyoto station. After a fairly short walk from the nearest train station, we discovered that the entrance to the Nintendo Museum was quite subtle - very understated and not what we were expecting at all. The location is in a very sleepy neighborhood with very little amenities.  Once we entered the security gate, there were a couple of selfie spots in the grounds including the iconic Super Mario Green Pipes . The Nintendo M...
