Another long-planned outing to JB with the girls after a long hiatus of 3 years was finally fulfilled on a random weekend. Both Meryl and Sweetie joined RKM for a full day trip worth of shopping, 'makan-ing' and singing!   Upon reaching JB, Malaysia, we settled at our favorite eatery place, Restoran Yit Foh which is located at Taman Century. We never fail to visit this eatery place whenever we drive in to JB. As always, the meal i most look forward to is breakfast, in order to start a brand new day!     Restoran Yit Foh serves very delicious Wanton Noodles, and the egg noodles blended very well with their seasoning sauce. The freshly prepared preserved green chilli is worth a mention too! I love the piping hot soup which has generous portions of wantons the best! I love weekends!! Baby and I decided to go into JB on a random Saturday late afternoon for shopping and to have our dinner. Baby and I wanted to re-visit 'Chicken Pot' which is located at Taman Mount Austin , as they serve delicious and tasty Chicken Hotpot! Upon being seated, we ordered the signature Chicken Pot, and requested for the medium sized version. The small version is meant for 1 person. The Chicken Pot consists of various cuts of fresh chicken meat that is cooked in a delicious black sauce with chillies, and it is served on a burner in a pot akin to the ubiquitous Steamboat. At the eatery, one can also order some additional ingredients to 'throw into the chicken pot aka steamboat style and we did just that by ordering luncheon meat, tang hoon, meatballs, hotdogs, an assortment of mushrooms, crabsticks and baby corn! For the friends who are close to me, as well as the readers who follow my blog regularly, it is easy to notice that I will never forget visiting my favourite Wanton Mee at Restoran Yit Foh whenever I visit JB, Malaysia! I have been patronising this eatery place since 2010, and it has satisfied my palate for seven years! As usual, last weekend, we drove into JB for our grocery shopping, and I visited my favorite eatery place for breakfast. My brekkie was fulfilled by a plate of yummy wanton Mee. OMAYA was well-received by many 'foodie', since its flagship outlet opening at Subang Jaya. It has stirred up hype and is well endorsed of many Korean food enthusiasts within Malaysia. After a short three months, they opened their second outlet at Mont Kiara. Now, barely half a year later, OMAYA's third outlet has been opened at Mount Austin, JB, and I was delighted to have been invited for the soft launch and food review session!
