Happy weekdays! Emerald Hill is one of the more conservative areas in Singapore, and used to be home to the wealthy Peranakan Community. It is also one of the most colorful streets in Singapore and the classic shophouse location has become one of my favorite places places for a nice OOTD. Baby and I revisited the famous Hong Kong Cha Chan Teng,  Honolulu Café  which is located at Centrepoint . We had our Sunday Brunch and I personally still feel that it was overrated. To be honest, I was already dismissive of the place when we first visited the original café in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I think the Singaporean branch is cut from the same cloth, as service was meh and the food was mediocre at best. The other Hong Kong cafes based in Singapore seem to be better in my humble opinion, but my baby seems to like this place so I humored him.   The bonus thing for me is that I really love their egg tarts. With the safe re-opening of Phase 2, RKM finally resumed our favorite routine! We love to drink tea/coffee at any Starbucks premises while chilling during the weekends. We dropped by  Ji Xiang Confectionery  which is located at  Everton Park  to pick up some delicious Ang Ku Kueh, but I was told only the peanut filling kind were left. I love the kuehs very much as the skin was thin as well as soft, while the filling was abundant and not too overly sweet. Thanks Mum Vi for continuing to cook for us even though Phase 2 had opened up. We appreciate it loads! After a long hiatus, we finally came back to Ivins Peranakan Restaurant, which is located at Binjai Park for our Sat-date dinner. We have been visiting this eatery since way back in 2008. It has been one of our favorite restaurants for more than a decade. Ivins is really worth both our thumbs-up! The damage was about SGD29, and the food was delicious yet affordable. My naughty yet adorable nephew turned 3 in October this year. Lately, he developed a passion towards music and he loves to impersonate singers when they are singing.   His birthday celebration was thrown at Krazy Salad which is located at Toa Payoh Central. It was a cozy mini birthday celebration and only some close friends and family members were invited to the party.           He has a soft spot for the famous Korean character - Pororo , The Little Penguin. Most of his necessities such as water bottles, eating utensils and even his piggy bank features this character! In short, he is a loyal supporter of Pororo .     Hayden was very happy that day as he knew that it was his birthday.
