About a week before Joanne's holiday trip to Taiwan, we (Meryl, Jasmine and yours truly) arranged a birthday celebration for her at Supply & Demand which is located at the Esplanade Mall .     There are two floors for the outlet located in Esplanade Mall. The ground level is divided into an indoor & alfresco dining and the upper level is a rooftop bar. Diners can select their preference for their dining or simply chill out with drinks and admire the skyline of Marina Bay, Singapore.          We ordered drinks while waiting for our food to be served.      Jasmine ordered Carte Blanche (Roasted Chicken) while the rest of us opted for pastas in tasting portions.      I had Chicken Aglio Olio (penne). It was nice to meet up with everyone on the first day of the lunar new year, and coincidentally, Yongwei's birthday (also falls on the very same day! A handful of us blogging friends and peers made time to meet up before his birthday was over. I went over to meet him at the meeting place (NEX Shopping Mall) after my dinner at my aunt's place at TPY. Caren and I were the first two people who arrived at Mcdonald's, where gradually, more friends made their way to join us. We had an enjoyable time chatting with one another. I just came back from my birthday celebration in Bangkok last month. Back then, I was pretty excited to visit 'The Land of Smiles' , Thailand, as my last visit/trip was way back in 2009. We took Tiger Airways to Bangkok, and after 2 hours of flying, we finally landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport . I purchased the Tourist AIS SIM Card at 299Baht which included unlimited usage of mobile data + 100Baht worth of local voice calls and SMS. We took the train from the airport to our hotel, Grand Diamond Suites Hotel.
