Blackball dessert shop recently opened one more outlet in Harbourfront Centre , and Baby and I visited the shop and shared a bowl of Ice   Signature Blackball . It cost us SGD5.90, which is kind of pricey as I remembered I only paid RM6.90 for the same dish at KSL City in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.     We went to have some Wanton Mee fix at Restoran Ho Seng Kee in Taman Century (near KSL Mall) instead of our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh as we are going to do some comparisons...     Upon ordering, we were to wait for 20mins for our orders to be served up. The whole eatery place was full of waiting customers and a long list of take-away too...   The wantons from Restoran Ho Seng Kee are larger and filled with generous portions of lightly marinated minced pork as compared to our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh . HortPark is a one-stop gardening hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting.   If you are the type of person who enjoys taking nature walks along the Southern Ridges, then HortPark is the right place to visit. As for me, I yearn for a tranquil environment for relaxation every weekend, to relieve myself from work stress and urban busy city life.     Upon reaching the gardening area, I saw a scarecrow back facing me at the Vegetable Garden , so I stepped into the premises to take a closer look of it. Ahh, it’s a friendly one.... Hahaha!!   I took several photos of vegetables, like Brinjal (Egg Plant), Lady Finger and even sweet potatoes. There is a notice in the park, ‘Take nothing but photos and leave your foot-prints behind.’       I settled myself with a nice plate of dessert for refreshment at Blackbal...

Making a trip down to Johor Bahru, M'sia on a random Sunday with my friends (7 of us)... Shopping and makan-ing is a MUST in JB for me. We made a trip down to KSL City for some affordable shopping and cheap eats...   I love the desserts that are offered by BlackBall . We ordered two different desserts to share among us... BlackBall Signature which is served with Grass Jelly and Yam Balls, Sweet Potato Balls, Taro Q, Black Pearls and Red Beans as toppings .     The other dessert, Jiu Fen Yam Balls with Crushed Ice , with the same kind of toppings - Yam Balls, Sweet Potato Balls, Taro Q, Black Pearls and Red Beans.  It tasted like 'Ice Kachang' .   Both desserts come with different add-on syrup... After the division, we paid RM2 per person. They are both uber delicious and affordable!!     We had our dinner at Kinashi Japanese Restaurant ...     I love my loots :)     I boug...
