Jess Baby's food journey

Blackball dessert shop recently opened one more outlet in Harbourfront Centre, and Baby and I visited the shop and shared a bowl of Ice Signature Blackball. It cost us SGD5.90, which is kind of pricey as I remembered I only paid RM6.90 for the same dish at KSL City in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
 
 
We went to have some Wanton Mee fix at Restoran Ho Seng Kee in Taman Century (near KSL Mall) instead of our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh as we are going to do some comparisons... 
 
Upon ordering, we were to wait for 20mins for our orders to be served up. The whole eatery place was full of waiting customers and a long list of take-away too...

 
The wantons from Restoran Ho Seng Kee are larger and filled with generous portions of lightly marinated minced pork as compared to our favorite haunt, Restoran Yit Foh. I like the soup base and wanton taste from Restoran Yit Foh. 


The home-made egg noodles which produced daily are very fine and bear a springy texture and are al-dente. I personally prefer the egg noodles from Restoran Ho Seng Kee.
 

 
Lastly, to conclude the whole dining experience between Restoran Yit Foh and Restoran Ho Seng Kee, I think I am keeping my vote on my favorite haunt, as the waiting time is shorter and cost saving too…
My advice: Only visit Restoran Ho Seng Kee if you have a lot of time to buffer or have the patience to wait. 
 
Baby and I were back again at Taman Desa Tebrau, and we heading for some bubble tea, and YES! We went to the interesting outlet, Hold住Tea again.
 
 
 
 
 We had our bubble tea indoor as the alfresco area was full... There are some mixed benefits when sitting indoors, wi-fi is weaker as compared to outdoors but air-con is cooling and it is a best way to beat the scorching sun.
 

Like I always mentioned, Baby's vanity level has increasing each day and it is sad to say, we are on par now...

We had our dinner at the same area, just a few walk from the Hold住Tea, and we settled at Restoran Tiga Tiga Dua Tujuh (3327) for our fix... 
 
We ordered Claypot Chicken, Braised Tofu in Pumpkin Sauce and Bittergourd with Spare Rib Soup. Our dinner was very affordable as the damage was RM30 (ard SGD11-ish). For the quality and price we are getting, we WILL definitely come back again…
 
 
We went for dinner at Star Yong Kwang BBQ Seafood on a random weekday after our work. It is located at Alexandar Village Food Centre.

 
The Braised Beancurd tasted really good and the gravy was absolutely tasty. I was pretty impressed by the taste though the presentation looked very normal.

The Sambal Stingray was really good, and it is among the best so far from all the other stingray dishes I have eaten before, though it looked very devilish spicy but it is actually not very spicy at all as it is blended well with the right amount of sweetness. I love this dish as the stingray was fresh, juicy and meaty.
In conclusion, this is a Sambal Stingray is worth trying, and this stall probably offers the best Sambal Stingray.
