[part 1] Disneyland Hong Kong Halloween Special - Toy Story Land + Monsters University

During this holiday to Hong Kong, I decided to pay a visit to Disneyland, as I heard that they have extended and upgraded the park with more attractions. My last visit to Hong Kong Disneyland was way back in 2009.

We bought the tickets prior to our visit to Disneyland from one of the tourist hubs at Avenue of Stars, as this will ensure that we do not have to queue to purchase our tickets at the park, it helped us to save up quite a bit of time...

YAY!! Our park tickets which featured Toy Story’s characters, T-Rex and Slinky Dog...

On our way to Disneyland...

We took the MTR to Sunny Bay to transfer to Disney train to Disneyland Resort Station...

Look at the ornaments in the train...

I am so excited as I am about to enter the magical kingdom...

The very first thing we did at Hong Kong Disneyland was to make our way to Monsters University Administration Building which was located at Main Street USA

We met up with Sulley, but most importantly I applied for my student pass!!

YAY!! I am officially a student of Monsters University.

Before we left the Main Street USA, we picked up a Mickey Waffle at HKD50 to share between us…

In October, Hong Kong Disneyland welcomes Halloween and it features a series of SCREAM entertainments for all visitors at the park. Upon entering the park, we were given a SCREAM passport whereby there are 10 stations which are categorized as the Halloween SCREAM programme.

After completion, simple affix a sticker given on the passport, and this will definitely keep us busy as some stations only opens at night...

SIDESHOW CARNIVAL EXTRAORDINARIE is one of the 10 Halloween SCREAM stations.

TOY STORY LAND is the new attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland...

TOY STORY LAND, a gigantic world where we are the size of a toy...

The new Pixar themed area was built to help promote Toy Story 3. This playland's design is to 'shrink the guest' down to being the size of a toy, and to play in Andy's Backyard with his toys from the movies...

I wasn’t amazed by it as I have been to TOY STORY PLAYLAND in Walt Disney Studio Park in Paris way back in 2011. The scale is pretty much smaller here in Hong Kong Disneyland...

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop was hosted by Green Army Men which is part of the 10 Halloween SCREAM stations.

Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is a parachute jump–style ride, it was pretty fun and I love the breath-taking scenery when we were soaring up by the parachute. Beware of the height if you have a fear of heights...

RC Racer is also one of the 10 Halloween SCREAM stations.

RC Racer is a steel shuttle roller coaster that moves back and fro at dizzying speed on a U-Shaped track... Think of the usual 'Viking' boatride we normally take, minus the holding bar in the middle! CRAZY RIDE!!

Look at the track, as it was steep and tall!! I screamed and yelled throughout the whole ride... To be honest, it was damn scary as it was almost reaching a right angled direction before the car sped down from the top.

Slinky Dog Spin

BABYHEAD is a new cannibalized toy which has infiltrated Toy Story Land this Halloween and it is definitely not one of Woody’s fun loving friends. BABYHEAD certainly depicts the dark side of toys.

Random photos on the special Halloween props in Hong Kong Disneyland...

I was given some stickers and candies as part of the giveaway for treat or trick in the park...
