Baby made a reservation for us for an afternoon tea at The Courtyard . It is located at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore - Sunlit Atrium Lobby.  We were led to our seats, and upon being seated, we were given a drink menu to order from various choices of tea or coffee. Apart from the drink, we were also given a glass of welcome drink! We spent quality time together over our afternoon tea,  and shared with each other on our upcoming travel plans to Korea. A 3-tier afternoon tea set was served to our table! As a staple for any afternoon tea set, scones are a must. The Courtyard does impressive buttery scones - one plain and one with raisins. The jam and clotted cream provided some flavours to the scones and the jam was not too sweet. We loved the Butter Scones with clotted cream and jam. The Sweets were really tasty! Both Meryl  and I received a blissful wedding invitation from Poppy, as she has tied her marital knot with her long-time beau, Jia Da! We attended the ROM solemnization of Jia Da and Christine aka Poppy as well as the tea ceremony at The Fullerton Hotel .  We enjoyed the luncheon very much. We ended our day at the wedding celebration with a group photo with the bride! Lastly, congrats to both of you and thanks for the invitation!  After the wedding luncheon, Baby picked us up, and we continued our outing at the Marvis Winter Wonderland Pop-Up Event  which was held  at  Novela Yue Hwa Chinatown .  Marvis is a premium oral hygiene brand that is exclusively crafted in Italy. We decided to use the remaining SRV vouchers that we had on another round of staycation. I guess the next one would be a while away in the future, as we are looking forward to our new home in June! We booked a night's stay at The Straits Club Heritage Room at The Fullerton Hotel . Unfortunately, our staycation occurred right at the beginning of the new heightened measures due to the worsening condition of COVID-19. Phase 2 (HA) actually kicked in on the day we checked in. The entire check-in experience was smooth and professionally executed. We were given a super early check-in in the morning at 10am. The room was filled with in-room amenities such as a Nespresso coffee machine as well as TWG Tea Bags.  I was pleased that the bathroom amenities were from Balmain Paris .
