I joined the Lee family for the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 202 4, and they came over to pick me up at my place. Thanks for the lift! I was so delightful to 'tumpang' their car to the Singapore Expo, where most of the participants boarded the shuttle bus to the starting point - SAF Field (Changi Village). We took a selfie in the shuttle bus! What I really enjoyed about the run, was having the opportunity to check out places that I normally wouldn't get to explore on my own.  During the run, I ran past historical sights, and many of them were protected by fencing and barbed wires.  My most exciting moment came when we were nearing the iconic Changi Prison Wal l. It was the highlight of the run, as it only open exclusively to the public once a year for this run! Thus, it's no surprise to see the simultaneous selfie-ing by many racers going on during the run event. Oh yes, the sight of the Changi Prison Wall also signalled the end of the race so YAY!! I did my first run this year! I missed out on the Herbalife Nutrition Marina Run 2019 in February due to my Hong Kong trip, but however, I am very glad that I completed the Mizuno Women's Run 2019 . In line with Mizuno’s new brand slogan - ‘Reach Beyond’. Mizuno wants to achieve a stronger connection with people and help them to lead a richer lifestyle.       The Mizuno Women's Run 2019 celebrates women from all walks of life, and was conceived to encourage women of all ages to get active through running. In 2019, they aim to ' Reach Beyond'.  It expresses Mizuno’s desire to support anyone who wishes to not only achieve their goals but to surpass them, whether they are serious athletes or just individuals who believe in the value of sport. I took part in the PCCW Global Charity Run 2017 , which was held at the Gardens By the Bay (Silver Leaf), to show my support for charity! 100% of the proceeds from this run are donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Singapore . A grand total of SGD 50,000 was raised from the Run! These funds will be used to fulfil the wishes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The 5KM Charity Run flagged off at 0715hrs, and it was pretty hard to wake up so early to get to the venue on time for the race. It's all thanks to my Baby's help, so we reached there about 20 minutes earlier before the race began.  The race route was pretty straightforward, and it made the runners traverse the areas of Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage and Marina Bay Sands. The POCARI SWEAT RUN returned for a fifth edition this year, with a special theme! 'Journey to the Moon' , as it was called, was to signify the amount of distance covered from every POCARI SWEAT Run since its beginning till now! This particular distance, after completion of this year's run, would cover enough kilometres to actually reach the moon from earth! The run was held at The Float @ Marina Bay this year, and the flag off time was at 6pm.   To give you a further insight into the theme this year, runners who took part in the previous editions of POCARI SWEAT RUNs have contributed a cumulated distance of 380,000KM. Over the four years, participants have covered a total of 300,000KM - a distance which is more than 75% of the distance between the Earth and the Moon.
