HÜBSCH JESS BABY

Meryl and I fixed a date to complete our virtual run on a random Sunday morning.  We met up at the Sports Hub and successfully completed our workout to obtain an e-badge from the 42Race App! After our morning workout, we went to the Old Airport Road Food Centre , to have the delicious Lor Mee from Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee  新美香 卤 面 .  To our surprise, the queue was short, as I was the second in line. I love the gravy as this is the key element in a good Lor Mee. It is thick and flavorful, and I really love this bowl of Lor Mee to the max! Baby and I spent our Sun-date at  Tampopo  which is located at  Takashimaya Shopping Centre. This eatery place is well-known for their  Kuro Buta . The main agenda of making this visit was that Baby needed to renew his membership, and we were given a welcome voucher to redeem within 60days. After 9 years, Momma Kong's has sadly closed their doors  to all their lovely customers after their lease was up at Mosque Street . RKM decided to re-visit this eatery place before it was closed for good! Our last visit was way back in 2015. We ordered chilli crab and we love the unique fried Mantou from  Momma Kong's , as it layered like a croissant and the texture is soft too. This local eatery place offered a one of a kind unique  Crab Broth (CB) Hokkien Mee which we doubt that we can find anywhere else… help!!! I had a delightful dinner at  Momma Kong's , and all the best, hope our paths may cross in the future. Lastly, thanks Baby for the wonderful meal! We got a steal from  HOUZE - Homeware Superstore which is located at Paya Lebar Quarters (PLQ MALL) as they were having warehouse sales! We purchased a BBQ device from Tefal - OptiGrill . It has been a long hiatus since I met up with Linda over a dinner gathering, so we therefore made a date with each other at Poulet, VivoCity. We tried out the half roasted chicken that was drenched in traditional brown sauce. The Poulet Diane was tasty, and both of us enjoyed it very much! We ordered the Creamy Mushroom Soup, and I love the aroma of the savory soup. It did not taste as creamy as it looked. I love the croutons which added a nice texture to the soup.  Both of us loved the Chicken Wings too!   Lastly, we ended our meal with the Crème Brulee , and it was an absolute treat! It was caramelised to perfection. The serving portion was excellent for sharing, which was definitely worth my both thumbs up! The total damage was SGD44-ish.
