A+E Networks' Lifetime (StarHub TV Channel 514) is presenting a new cooking show competition featuring pint-sized prodigies taking on culinary veterans. After the successful U.S debut, Man vs. Child Chef Showdown will premiere in Asia on Tuesday, 26 January at 7pm. The show pits some of America's most talented young chefs against professional-trained adult chefs they look upon to. The 13-episode part series follows a team of 5 up and coming child cooking wunderkinds - Estie (8), Dylan (11), Emmalee (12), Cloyce (13), Holden (14), who face off against a different executive-level chef each week for bragging rights. Lifetime brings together 15 aspiring home-cooks from across Asia for the first ever season of this pan-regional, English version of MasterChef Asia .     The judge panel consists of 3 judges. The first, Food Entrepreneur, Ms Audra Morrice , is a singapore-born lady who was a formal finalist of MasterChef Australia. The second judge is Bruno Menard from France, and is a renowned 3-Michelin-Star Chef. Lately, cafe-hopping has become a very popular trend among Singaporeans, and theme cafes are the latest hide-out haunts for friends' gatherings or simply just for couples' sweet dates. Baby and I visited Strangers' Reunion which is located at Kampong Bahru Road, opp. Singapore General Hospital (SGH). There are many rave reviews about this cafe as it was managed by Ryan Tan, the winner of Singapore National Barista Championship. We ordered a pot of hot Lady Grey tea and shared a slice of Crumble Cheesecake. I must say that it is the best cheesecake I have ever eaten before.  The damage was SGD16, and  I will come back again for their Waffles and Truffle Fries.
