Birthday Celebration with Take A Bake

2 days before Meryl’s actual birthday, Chewy and I arranged a lunch celebration at Habitat Coffee which is located at King George Avenue, a walking distance less than 8-minutes away from Lavender MRT Station.



We ordered some signature brunch items from the 'All-Day Brunch' menu, which are available till 8pm. Recommended items are the 'Big Ben', Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict, and Avocado with Eggs!

One of the items we ordered was the Beef Yakiniku Don, which was served with generous pieces of  of sautéed yakiniku-style beef slices, along with sliced onions, seaweed, and onsen egg.


The Big Ben is a plate of ‘big breakfast’ rather than just Eggs Benedict, containing scrambled eggs, maple glazed bacon, toast, pork sausage, grilled tomato, and sautéed mushrooms.

We also ordered the Truffled Scrambled & Salmon. The scrambled eggs are infused with white truffle, grilled salmon fillet and sourdough toast, and this dish looked generous. What a hearty meal.


This eatery place is pretty crowded, so do ensure to make a reservation before popping over!


As the Birthday-Girl is a big fan of BLACKPINK, we decided to surprise her by customising a special themed cake for her. I am glad to have been introduced to ‘Take A Bake’ and mega props to them for making this birthday celebration a good one! Kudos to their service and the efficiency of delivering the cake as well. Thanks for the catering to our arrangement!

We continued our date after our lunch, and we headed down for some singing session at the HaveFun Karaoke which is located at Bugis cube!

We brought the birthday cake to our singing venue!



This place is pretty much a family-oriented Karaoke joint. We enjoyed. We enjoyed ourselves very much, as we sang our hearts out at the singing session. Nothing beats having fun with my lovely clique!



We opted for Butterscotch and it turned out to be an awesome choice! It paired well with fresh cream, it tasted so good on a whole!

You can have a choice of 500g or 1kg, which depending on the number of pax you are holding for the party/gathering.

Now, we regard Take A Bake as our reliable bakery! Highly recommend to those who are in search of distinctive cakes, as they have a wide selection of cake design to choose from! Talk to them and plan with them about your next order!
