Dinner at Oceanspoon Dining

It was the last day of January, therefore Jas Jas and Baby Jess together with our partners decided to make our way to Oceanspoon Dining which is located at Keppel Club for dinner...

Oceanspoon Dining at Keppel Club is a family coffeehouse cum bistro, and their menu consists of a mixture of distinctive international and Asian favorites, and they also offer children´s menu too.

Fish Maw Thick Soup - The portion was generous and it tasted fabulous. The taste of the soup is exactly like the shark’s fin soup served during any banquet occasion. I love the flavorful thick soup!!

Preserved White Raddish (Chai Poh) Omelette

Preserved White Raddish (Chai Poh) Omelette and the Chef Special Mini Tofu with Thai Sauce tasted normal and nothing to shout about.

Baby and I were thrilled to find out that they serve Aroma Crispy Duck in the restaurant, and here we go, we ordered the Half Aroma Crispy Duck as part of our meal.

The sauce that was used is just the normal dark sauce, and this is not really enough to bring out the whole aroma of the crispy duck.

The presentation was pretty alright but the taste was an utter let down. The crispy duck was not crispy and the oil smell was pretty bad too. The Aroma Crispy Duck that I ate in London, Chinatown was way better than the one we had in Oceanspoon Dining. The damage was SGD60-ish after SGD25 voucher deduction we only paid SGD35-ish.
