This August, Lifetime Channel brings MasterChef Australia Season 4 finalist, Audra Morrice back home to Singapore.

Audra Morrice is best known as the chef who produced some of the most consistent and amazing dishes on the show. She was a favorite in this season 4 of MasterChef Australia for her ability to cook and bake.

She was born in Singapore, and her mother is a Singaporean while her dad is an Indian. Her style of food is mainly Asian drawing influence from her Chinese Indian heritage.

Tekka Centre is a multi-use building complex comprising of a wet market, food centre and retail shops. Till date, it still remains a landmark of Little India.

I was glad to be part of the filming as Audra Morrice visited one of our local wet markets, Tekka Market and we followed her around as she provided tips on how to select the freshest products and recommendations on what ingredients go well with each other.

It's been a very long time since I stepped into the wet market, lately most people prefer to purchase their food ingredients from the supermarkets instead. I love the nostalgic feeling when I was at Tekka Market.

Audra helped us to pick up some ingredients for us as we were going to cook her recipe, Nonya Curry Chicken, and this is definitely an excellent opportunity to learn some home-cooked food from her.

Finally, we got all our cooking ingredients!! The only difference between a wet market and supermarket is that the things are fresher and cheaper.

We ended our shopping trip at Tekka Market by taking group photos with Audra Morrice. I am glad that I attended this shopping trip with Audra Morrice and the fellow bloggers, but most importantly, I gain knowledge from this trip too.

My morning shopping trip with Audra Morrice was a fruitful and lovely one... Stay tuned for my home-cooked Nonya Curry Chicken, courtesy from Audra's recipe.
