Singapore Motorshow 2015
The Singapore Motorshow was back after six years of hiatus. and was ongoing the15-18 January 2015. This year, it offered a full day of lineups of exciting new cars, car stunt shows, competitions and entertainment.
Last week, I was invited to the preview day, and I was in awe to see an array of vehicles that were displayed in Singapore for the very first time. The four-day event was held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, and the highlight was several cars making their Singapore debut.
I love the futuristic exterior design of NISSAN NOTE. It is a delight to drive as offers a spacious and comfortable experience, but most importantly, it has an extraordinary fuel economy!
The eye-catching NISSAN JUKE
I was so happy to be the first few to witness the debut of AUDI TT.
All-new Honda Mobilio RS, the latest mobile of Honda's MPV line up.
RC F, the most powerful Lexus V8 model was revealed at the Motorshow...
Motor Image, the exclusive distributor of Subaru officially launched the all-new Outback in Singapore which offers customers an experience of supreme performance, responsive handling and luxurious comfort.
I was impressed with the new generation model as it combines luxury and innovative technologies together which enhances the driving experience, efficiency and safety.
The all-new Subaru Outback is a unique crossover concept which provides comfort with long distance capabilities, adequate loading space and an improvement in fuel economy. It features a distinct crossover look with a bold, rugged body shape, bigger tires and muscular fenders. As well as reduction in wind resistance by improving airflow over the rear of the body which also makes a major contribution to reduce fuel consumption at high speeds
Car enthusiasts experienced an adrenaline-fuelled extravaganza like no other at the Singapore Motorshow with the return of the Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show.
The English Guinness World Record holder, Russ Swift returned to Singapore, in collaboration with motor image to demonstrate the exciting experience of driving a Subaru which included high speed reverse spins, parallel parking, power slides and two wheeling, as well as an amazing choreographed spins.
Russ Swift holds the Guinness record for Parallel Parking, and was a two-time British Autotest Champion and England Autotest Team Captain in 1982 and 1983. In 2004, he set a Guinness record for making 10 complete spins with a car (also known as doughnuts) in just 16.07 seconds (merely 1.6 seconds for each spin).
Have a peek on the exciting short video clips of the stunt driving performance.
Lastly, thanks so much for the invite, which was truly an eye opener for me!
