[overseas event] MCM's London Musical Circus at Capital21 + RestoranShalloo

Thanks Capital21 for the tickets to the London Musical Circus and of course my JB blogger mate, Kim, who linked me up with the personnel from Capital21. I was given 2 pairs of tickets from the management, and I invited Tracy and her fiancé, YX to join RKM for the show. We had a fun day trip of exploration in JB.

Prior to our show, we explored the nearby area for our dinner, and we spotted a container concept dining spot - old containers were reused for shops, bars and restaurants which is located at Kilang Bateri, Johor Bahru.

We settled at Restoran Shalloo which was formerly known as i-Shell Out, and if you enjoy the concept of eating seafood right off the table, just like how you dine at Crab in Da Bag or Dancing Crab then you will probably like Restoran Shalloo

The Louisiana Seafood Concept is a messy affair of having a variety of seafood (crab, prawn, lobsters, clams, etc) that are cooked in various sauces and served right on the table top for you to consume with your bare hands! In recent years, this dining concept has gained popularity in Singapore, and many of us know that this does not come cheap. However, you can now enjoy a similar dining experience at an affordable price right here!

As mentioned, we started to dig in once the food was dumped directly on the cleaned table-top. No bowls, plates or cutlery were given, but we were not used to eating with our bare hands, so we asked for cutlery instead.

The food was 'da bomb'! I would recommend this place for any seafood lovers! Nevertheless, thanks to the lovely duo of Tracy and YX for the treat!

After the meal, we explored the area and took some random OOTDs! Most cafes gave us a grungy feel, as they were housed in old containers and had a trendy vibe. It certainly made me forget that I was in Johor Bahru!

We entered 'WAREHOUSE', an old container-style hip hangout with a highly Instagrammable shopping experience! We stopped by at a local brand, SatuKapal, and Baby picked up a top for only RM29. We loved the old brick backdrop in the shop as it gave us a perfect photo spot for OOTDs.

Both Tracy and I got excited to see an empty container, so we decided to take a mandatory photo inside the container in spite of our partners' displeasure, but they still gave in to us in the end. Oh well...we bloggers just love taking photos!

After exploring, we drove back to Capital21 to pick up our tickets. It is a new mall that is officially opens on the 17th October 2018.

We took a photo with the Queen's guard at the entrance of the theatre level.

We were excited for MCM's London Musical Circus which makes it debut at Capital21, Johor Bahru. We simply enjoyed the high risk acts and the overall performance!

I didn't take many photos during the show as I was enjoying myself with the performance, but I captured some snippets of the amazing acts on video, so do pop by to my Instagram highlights to check them out!

Experience a whole new level of family entertainment with incredible displays of balance, stamina and aerial artistry, 'The Greatest Showman' is a show that you don't want to miss! Tickets are priced from RM40 and are now on sale. Head down to their website to book your tickets!

We had a delightful day trip to JB, and I enjoyed my first overseas double-date with Tracy and YX. More to come in the near future!
