[random] IRVINS BLOCK PARTY + Victor's Kitchen + Tampopo

Baby and I spent our fri-date at Tampopo which is located at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. This eatery place is well-known for their Kuro Buta Tonkatsu and Kuro Buta Shabu Ramen. And YES, we ordered both of them as our mains.

We shared the yummy croquette, and the damage was SGD52. My little treat for my Baby! 

After the meal, we went to collect my winning from Guardian. Thanks for selecting me to win the Garnier Micellar Foaming Cleanser! 

As our car has been in the workshop for 2 weeks, but this didn't stop us to fulfil our weekend dates! As usual, he will still travel from his place to my place to meet me before we head together for our date. We took the train - DT LINE from my place to Bencoolen Station for our destination, Sunshine Plaza, as my Baby is craving for dim sum. Due to loss of car, we didn't have any weekend Dim Sum brunch since then. 

We decided to re-visit 'Victor's Kitchen', a popular eatery/dim sum place which we had tried before. Upon reaching the premises, we were greeted by moderate queues, but that didn't turn us away!

The chicken feet were flavorful and yummy, but most importantly, they contained collagen!

I love their version of Steamed Carrot Cake which is served with a side of XO sauce and soy sauce. It tasted incredibly delicious, and had a good balance of moistness. Juicy radish slices were hidden within the gluey mixture of rice pudding!

The damage was pretty hefty though, as I felt it was within the same price range of say, Crystal Jade Kitchen. We paid SGD43 for our meal! 

We walked over to Plaza Singapura for the IRVINS BLOCK PARTY. We picked up an 'Irvins passport and started on our adventure! Once we cleared all the stations, we were given a chance to participate in a Lucky Dip where merchandise could be won!

We went for some Chinese desserts at the basement. My weekend day out was well-spent with my Baby. Thanks people for popping by my humble space and happy reading! Stay tuned for more updates...
