The 'Mango King Thai Dessert' Kiosk has now opened at B4 of Ion Orchard , and they serve dessert cups which consist of the core ingredient of sweet Thai Mangoes! I had the fortune to try out the mango dessert, which was all thanks to Jackie for the arrangement!     The cup was filled with layers of mango juice, fresh cream, mango sorbet and cubes of fresh mangoes from Thailand. I enjoyed the fresh and sweet mango cubes very much, although I wished that my dessert cup was filled up with just mango juice and fresh mango fruit cubes, as i'm watching my weight! Haha!     A layered mango dessert cup is priced at SGD8.90 for a regular sized cup, and SGD11.90 for a larger version. A weekend getaway to KL, Malaysia is something I always been waiting for after a week of stressful work, and it is certainly a nice way recharge myself. We drove up on a Saturday morning at 5am, and we reached KL at 10.30am. We did something different from our previous trips, as we read about a new eatery place called Prawn King Noodles which served authentic Penang Prawn Noodles. Therefore, we decided to have our brekkie there, and it is located at Taman OUG. The Chinese tea was served in a classic metal mug which cost us only RM0.60!   I love the flavorful broth very much, and I had a nice meal there!   After the meal, we drove back to Uncle Mike's place which is about 25mins away. After a year of hiatus, I finally met up with Samuel and CK for an early X’mas dinner gathering at Supply & Demand which is located at the Esplanade Mall . We ordered the big portion of the ‘Morning After’ pizza to share amongst us. We enjoyed it every much as it is topped with favorite breakfast ingredients such as mushrooms, bacon and soft egg. We loved the delicious and freshly baked thin crust pizza that had generous toppings! We also shared a Prawn Aglio Olio Pasta (Penne) and for our sides, we had Garlic Truffle Fries. We had an enjoyable night chatting with one another and the food was yummy too. Thanks for making time for this gathering, and I was happy to receive X’mas gifts from them! Recently, I've developed a new found love for Japanese 'Mikan' Oranges after attending the Arida Mikan tasting session at the Japan Rail Café .
