Mum Vi loves Peking Duck, and Asia Grand Restaurant is famous for it, as well as for their Dim Sum Selections. Bro Ken booked a table at the restaurant for Mum Vi’s birthday celebration.  We had the 7-course dinner, which included Peking Duck. We started our dinner with complimentary Longevity Buns, courtesy from the Asia Grand Restaurant. Thanks so much for this extension of service rendered to us! I truly enjoyed the double cooking methods for Garoupa Fish . I think I will remember this dish when someone mentioned Asia Grand Restaurant. Hahaha! The Peking Duck was deliciously succulent, and we enjoyed it very much!  The course dinner ended with a plate of 'Sang Mee' made with duck meat from the Peking duck, as well as Mango Pudding for dessert! On a random weekend, we went over to Bukit Panjang Plaza for our late lunch, and we settled at an eatery place - Shan Cheng . It serves Ipoh’s famous food delicacies.   Both Baby and I had the Authentic Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun (Soup) and we also shared a plate of ' Ipoh Golden Platter' . The platter consists of fishballs, fish cakes, fried turnips, fried beancurd skins with and without fillings. I enjoyed every item since they were freshly fried! I loved the fried turnip the best as it tasted sweet and flavorful. I am pretty sure it is not hard to find tasty Ipoh Hor Fun in Singapore but Shan Cheng provides a pretty decent alternative to catch up with friends over traditional food comfortably. This post is gonna be a short one as I spent most of my time on this particular day shopping at the Premium Outlets, as well as other places located nearby since the outlets is located about a hour's drive from Downtown Seattle. Finally, it was a shopping day for me! I was thrilled to discover Café Opla on my third day in Seattle. It is located inside the World Trade Center Building, and it is only open for breakfast/brunch/lunch.  The food is served on individual skillets, the fried eggs are cooked with various meats and pickled vegetables for breakfast on the go. I went for the ' Opla Hawaii', and it was definitely a great choice to me as it had my favorite spam, pulled pork and fried eggs in it! Café Opla boasts a simple dining concept, and with a globally inspired and affordable menu that you can’t go wrong. If you are an avid fan of Thai cuisine, some authentic thai food can be found right in the heart of Sembawang!  JJ Thai Cuisine is located right opposite Sembawang Shopping Centre (SSC).  It offers a wide selection of Thai food that will likely make you spoilt for choice. This eatery place serves pretty delicious Thai food at an affordable price! We dropped by for dinner on a random weekend.  We love the Homemade Thai Prawn Cake  and this made it into our 'MUST-ORDER list! It was crispy on the outside and had a sweet and sour dipping sauce to accompany it. With the sauce, it enhanced the flavor of the breaded prawn cake! Best to be eaten while it’s hot! We ordered the  Seafood Tom Yum (Thick Version) which we absolutely loved ! The   seafood and ingredients within the soup were very  generous as well and the thick soup tasted spicy. With the safe re-opening of Phase 2, RKM finally resumed our favorite routine! We love to drink tea/coffee at any Starbucks premises while chilling during the weekends. We dropped by  Ji Xiang Confectionery  which is located at  Everton Park  to pick up some delicious Ang Ku Kueh, but I was told only the peanut filling kind were left. I love the kuehs very much as the skin was thin as well as soft, while the filling was abundant and not too overly sweet. Thanks Mum Vi for continuing to cook for us even though Phase 2 had opened up. We appreciate it loads! Thanks Mum Vi for making my favorite Steamed Sea Bass with Cai Poh , and thanks to my own mommy who helped to pick up this fresh fish from the wet market!
