Hello Everyone! I have been working from home  for almost up to 5 months and counting! This also means that I have to really ponder on what to have for lunch or dinner. Although I do enjoy having home-cooked meals at times, food delivery has now become a part of our daily lives for sure! Recently, I collaborated with Overly Cheezy , and I ordered 2 large pizzas, 2 sides and 2 desserts! My lunch order arrived within my time slot (1pm to 2pm) at 1.30pm. Overly Cheezy opened its first outlet in the heartlands of Hougang. It's the first pizzeria in Singapore to use five different cheeses on every pizza! It consists of Gruyere cheese, (mostly used in high end restaurants), mozzarella, emmental, cheddar orange and parmesan. They are handcrafted with fresh ingredients and premium doughs. Happy Birthday to Wilfred! Although we've only known each other since 2018, it seems like we've been friends for more than half a decade! I really enjoy your companionship together with the other members from 'Team Marvel'! I met up with the Birthday Boy and CK on a random weekday after my work. We settled our dinner celebration/gathering at Aburi-en, which is located at the basement of Suntec City Tower 5. We had a delightful dinner, and both CK and I were glad that Wilfred enjoyed his dinner very much. After our meal, we proceeded to Coffeesmith for tea and cake session. Chicken rice is their speciality but the restaurant also serves a wide range of zichar favorites such as stir-fried vegetables, shrimp rolls, fried omelette and etc.   New Teck Kee Chicken Rice  introduces Truffle Chicken Rice Platter, (SGD23) which serves from three to five pax. This large chicken rice platter drizzled with truffle oil was introduced by their 2nd-gen owner, who intends to give a breakthrough to the traditional chicken rice. My causal home outfit which was taken at Woodlands’ apartment! I now look forward to Fridays, as this is the ONLY day I can go back to the office! To be honest, WFH is not a bad thing, but there are still many things that can only be done back in the office.   Although we are in Phase 2 of the Re-Opening where dining is allowed, I still love home-cooked food! Mum Vi still cooks on from time to time on both weekdays and weekends, but not as regularly as during the Circuit Breaker Phase/Phase 1. Thanks Mum Vi for cooking!
