It has been 3 years of hiatus since I last visited Ippudo Ramen , therefore Baby suggested to go there for our dinner fix. We settled at the outlet which is located at the basement of Marina Bay Sands . We ordered a bowl of ramen each as our main course, as well as a side dish. The damage was pretty hefty as we paid SGD50-ish. We both enjoyed the rich broth and chewy ramen texture! I re-visited Soi 47 Thai Food which is located at King George Road . Happy weekends!  Baby sent me to Orchard for my facial appointment, and we had some light bites at Starbucks before my facial treatment. After my facial at International Building, we walked over to Shaw Centre for our late lunch at Mui Kee Congee on a random Saturday afternoon. This eatery place originates from Hong Kong, Mongkok and it has been receiving a lot of good reviews by diners all over the world.  We ordered a bowl of plain congee along with a bowl of crispy fried fritters (You Tiao). The serving of the congee is generous  enough to serve 2-3 people. What makes the congee stand out at Mui Kee Congee is that there is actually a hint of 'wok hei' in the porridge which makes it taste great! Do you guys miss going for running events? I do! I used to go for running events, as nothing beats the feeling of when you have finished a run. The sense of accomplishment is indescribable! However, with the ongoing pandemic, all running events have been forced to be cancelled for the time being.
