Both Baby and I love afternoon tea, but unfortunately we are not able to enjoy it now due to the dine-in restrictions. Therefore, we thought we would DIY by picking up a 3-tier High-Tea stand from Lazada ! We made our very own afternoon tea with some of our favorite snack items! We had fruit tarts and mini cupcakes for sweets and BBQ pork pastries and curry puffs as our savories. I finally had the chance to use this Disney Baby Pooh Tea Set which I purchased a few years back! We enjoyed our Afternoon Tea at home! This is the result of having higher COVID-19 restrictions... I miss dining in at the food centres, as there are many delicious food options under one roof. Many might say ' you can take-out the food mah' , but honestly, do you agree with me that food taste better when dining in than take-out! I can’t wait to end the heightened alert, so we can start dine in with our family or a small group of friends again. My cutie-pie niece turned 3 in July this year. Time flies really very fast as I still remembered she was an infant back then but is now a grown-up and pretty little lady!  Her simple birthday celebration was held at home this year, due to Covid19 restrictions. It was a cozy mini birthday celebration and only family members were invited to the party . Happy Birthday Kaelyn! Stay happy and healthy always. Lastly, thanks to my kid brother and his wifey for the house-warming gift!  And of course some gifts via courier service from Baby’s besties, N & A. We received a bottle of champagne from Moët & Chandon and a bottle of RokuGin from them respectively.

  Due to the number of Covid19 infection community cases that have been increasing in Singapore, our government announced a return back to Phase2HA (Heightened Alert) to minimize the transmission of the virus. I have alreadyg otten used to this 'whole new world' ever since the circuit breaker back in 2020. Luckily, shopping malls and supermarkets are still in operation. We started off the measures from 22 July 2021 and some restrictions will ease on 18 August 2021. To reduce the risk of community transmission, indoor ‘mask-off’ activities such as dining in at F&B establishments ceased.   For my daily breakfast, my Baby will prepare toast and tea for me, but for the times I get tired of toast or buns, he will then get take-out from the nearby food centre for me.
