We had our lunch at Taliwang Restaurant which is located along Kandahar Street , and it serves authentic Halal Lombok Cuisine. We ordered some mains to share among us, and below were some of the orders. We shared one of the signature dishes  – Ayam Bakar Taliwang . This is an iconic dish from Lombok, and the chicken was well-marinated with a Taliwang flavor. It was char-grilled perfectly with a tenderness that still retained a juicy bite. We had a wonderful dining experience at Taliwang Restaurant ! Baby made use of his WFH week, to prepare dinner for us. He whipped up a simple dinner -  Meatball Pasta for both of us on a random weekday. I had the pleasure to attend the Asian Premiere of  'Carnival of the Animals'   which had it is debut in South-East Asia, all thanks to Base Entertainment Asia . Thanks for having us at the Asian Premiere Night! An immersive circus carnival which featured whimsical tales of creatures of land and sea, tumble, fly, leap and spin their way through the many wondrous worlds of the animal kingdom. The show is enthralling for all ages, without being overwhelming for younger children, and at the time with plenty of subtle humor that older children will love too! There are no four-legged creatures in this circus, but a spellbinding and mesmerizing performance about wild imagination, explosions of magic and comical humor that speaks to everyone, especially children. I recently had a craving for a comforting bowl of porridge, so in order to indulge my stomach craving, Baby brought me to 'Gu Zao Ren Taiwanese Porridge' ! It is located at Changi Road, and they offer an extensive of variety of items on their menu to choose from. I love the Taiwanese Sweet Potato Porridge ,  and the best part is that after ordering your first bowl of porridge, subsequent bowls are free, so you can eat as many bowls as you want! Out of the assortment of dishes you can choose, my favorite is the Stewed Pork Belly with Mei Cai , as it goes very well with porridge or rice. Apart from the Stewed Pork Belly with Mei Cai, we also ordered Sambal Long Beans , Cai Poh Omelette , Braised Claypot Tofu and Sweet and Sour Pork .
