A re-visit to Café Monochrome which is located at 216 Syed Alwi Road with my ex-colleagues who have now been upgraded to close friends! The café bears a black and white  interior that is akin to a flat 2D comic like/illustration photo! We ordered a Smoked Salmon Cream Pasta, Soft Shell Crab Pasta and the Yuzu Butter Chicken. For sides, we had the ' Monochrome' Platter which consists of Soft Shell Crab, Bacon, Sausages, Mentaiko Fries and Chicken Wings/drumlets . Recently, both Baby and I were craving for a comforting bowl of porridge, so in order to indulge my stomach craving, and we went to  'Gu Zao Ren Taiwanese Porridge' ! It is located at Changi Road , and they offer an extensive of variety of items on their menu to choose from. I really love their  Taiwanese Sweet Potato Porridge , and the best part is that after ordering your first bowl of porridge, subsequent bowls are free, so you can eat as many bowls as you want! My favorite dish to go along with my porridge is definitely the  Stewed Pork Belly with Mei Cai . Apart from the Stewed Pork Belly with Mei Cai, we also ordered  Brinjal with Minced Meat in Claypot and Hot-Plate Tofu .
