Nong Geng Ji Hunan Home-Style Cuisine (农耕记湖南土菜) , is a popular restaurant chain in China, and they serve Hunan cuisine , which reflects the local appetite for high-quality Chinese home-style cooking. Being a newbie to Hunan cuisine, I was excited to give Nong Geng Ji a try and discover more about Hunan dishes. What We Tried  We were a small group of 2 so we only ordered 3 dishes. Stir-fried Cabbage with Dried Shrimp We started off with this simple homely dish, and it was simply delicious. It was cooked to perfection. I added this dish into my MUST-ORDER list!  Braised Beef Brisket with Potatoes It was satisfying, with tender, flavorful potatoes and brisket that melts in your mouth. Last year, we missed out on the  Affordable Art Fair (AAF) . We were not in Singapore, as we were in Los Angeles for our year-end vacation. We were glad that we were able to visit the return of Affordable Art Fair (AAF) this November 2024.  This year, I got complimentary passes again all thanks to the Affordable Art Fair (AAF) !  It was held at the F1 Pit Building . Baby is an art lover, and he somehow got me into the arts scene after we got together. We always relish the opportunity to view art, and therefore this was a not-to-be missed event for us!  We had a splendid afternoon at the art fair, and we felt that this year's instalment was so much bigger as compared to the previous ones!  The  Affordable Art Fair (AAF)  is an annual event where artists sell affordable art to the community! Haisai Okinawa, Japan ! We arrived after 2-hours of flight from Fukuoka and we were greeted by a cooling weather of 12-16C. It was a totally different experience from Mainland Japan. We were all set for our trip!  We stayed at the MB Gallery Chatan by The Terrace Hotels , and the location was splendid! It was within walking distance of American Village .  This lovely cosy place was my 'home' for the next 5 days in Okinawa. The neighbourhood in Mihama is safe and the hotel Wi-Fi was pretty stable too. We reached our hotel in the late afternoon, and upon being checked in, the hotel staff ushered us to the Club Lounge -  '7th Moon Club'  which is located on the 7th level to have our evening canapés and some alcoholic beverages. The view was splendid! We went up to the rooftop area which is located next to the club lounge to catch the fireworks at 8pm, which we were told about by the reception!  After that, we headed down to Shimauta and Ryukyu Cuisine Chat...
