[Throw back Thursday] BIG BANG at 2013 F1 Singapore Grand Prix + Melben Seafood

Pardon me for this extremely out-dated post!! This year Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix marked my second year to F1 Night Race, as I was here for Bananarama and Maroon 5 last year…

BIG BANG, the most anticipated South Korean group performed on the first day of F1. Sweetie and I were excited about their performance. ‘LONG LIVE BIG BANG’

Inside the premises of F1 area, we headed straight to the Padang Stage to grab a good spot for ourselves…

Luckily, we still managed to get a spot inside the fan zone area...

Apart from the exciting F1 night race, I was pretty excited for another highlight on the first day of F1, and that was the concert with the heartthrob Korean group – BIG BANG.

This was BIG BANG’s second time performing in Singapore for F1 and they received good reviews on their performance that their concert brought 35,000 fans dancing the night away at the Padang...

The crowd at the floor was in high spirits as they screamed and sang along with them... OM!! I love them so much… Their singing and dancing were full of energy and I can’t take of eyes off my favorite guy, Taeyang… Hahaha!!

They closed their concert with ‘Fantastic Baby’ after much encore and kudos to their amazing performance as F1 Singapore Grand Prix Day One was concluded by BIG BANG’s blasting concert. It was the wildest night indeed, and I hope to see more LIVE concert performances next year…

There is no surprise for Singaporeans to hear about Melben Seafood, as all of us know that they offer a wide array of delicious Cze Char food entrees and is also famously known for their Claypot Bee Hoon Soup Crab.

Baby and I went to the outlet in Toa Payoh, and we waited about 30mins for our table to be ready without any reservation made in prior to our dinner…
The queue is always horrendous but many customers like us still sacrifice the time and comfort just to have a bite of their famous Claypot Bee Hoon Soup Crab

We ordered the ‘Fei Cui Dou Fu' which is classified as one of the signature house entrée. The Tofu was perfectly deep-fried and the gravy tasted good too...

How can we miss the Claypot Bee Hoon Soup Crab which is what everybody was there for? The crab flesh was fresh and tasted sweet and the soup was rich and flavorful. I savored every bit of the soup.
The slippery bee hoon was cooked to perfection and every mouthful of the soup melts in my mouth. This is a MUST TRY dish for everyone who visits Melben Seafood...

The damage was affordable, and I think is pretty worth the money spent as the crab is really huge and the quality was good too...

Halloween is around the corner, and I realized that many eerie Halloween displays are all over the whole island-wide of Singapore. I saw these pretty interesting decorations outside one of the pubs at Boat Quay while I was heading for an invited-only event...

Singaporean has array wild creative ideas in celebrating Halloween…  Apart from haunted trails, we now have zombie runs and even pubs and clubs are having Halloween special promotions and parties or events… With all these designed programs and events, we will not get bored during Halloween, but it gives us a good reason to enjoy this celebration...
